I don't think he's earned that much cash yet. I would like to see more from him. Most times dudes get lazy, become too relaxed after getting a fat paycheck. I like Lin but I don't think he's worth that gamble yet, especially after he's had knee surgury...which I'm sure might affect a big part of his game, that nice first step he had might be gone.

I'll take a chance with Felton, Billups, Sessons and/or maybe a unsigned PG to dish dimes to Stat, Melo, Chandler, J.R. We don't need a scoring PG right now. We need defense, passing to our lead scorers, tuffness...and most of all experience...if we're fortunate enough.

This post show us Knicks fans just how miss-bobbled Knicks management has become....
After the final arbitration decision on June 29th, Knicks management & coach were suppose to be on a 10 day wine-dine of our 3 RFA players Lin, Fields, and Novak to resign....never giving the next NBA team a chance to break-up our trio-force of young players....the 3 Knicks players became high valuable commodities during the "Lin-SANITY" era.

The Knicks adverticing management were suppose to let it be known throughout the media "the first priority of the Knicks on July 1st. are resigning trio-star players PG-Lin, SG-Fields, and 6th man SF-Novak.".

By GM Grunwald seperating the Knicks 3 young RFA players, rather than keep all the 3 RFA players name together in every article to make it be known they are Dolan's KEEPERS....Grunwald actually gave NBA teams the chance to bid very high offers to Lin, Fields, and Novak, while knowing the Knicks are already over the salary-cap threshold with just the 5 players under contract on July 1st.

I dont believe Novak, or Fields, or Lin would agree to the next team offer-sheet if they believe the Knicks main intentions are to resign all three players...

Lin-Sanity is a high selling product....for how long? it does not matter b/c bussiness censors expectation of Lin-Sanity 2012-13 season will bring in a profit of $50M+ in one season.

The Knicks had a 8-15 record when we pulled Jeremy Lin from the D.League to start at PG.
Did u forget all the BOOs in MSG during the 8-15 record when we had a 1-9 run?
Do u actually believe Baron Davis wouldve put on a Knicks uniform this season if there was no "Lin-Sanity" in MSG?

As I stated too many times, Jeremy is the reason I became a Knicks fan

even the best professional athletes do NOT deserve that much money.

Knicks match 4 years for 30 million without even blinking. The rockets would have to have gone full R*tard (and considering they traded they're last quality PG I think they did a lil) and offered Lin the 40 million in 4 years to get him away from the knicks. He opens up the Chinese Market soooo yeah 35 million in the luxury tax is not going to sway Dolan's Wallet.

Rockets are a week away from overpaying sessions.

Knicks need to just get JR and use that Mini MLE wisely.

JKidd is a 5 point, 5 assist guy now. Not a good option to start.
As far as signing other PGs there's not much left now. Dragic signed to Phoenix. Lowry was traded to Toronto.
