2009 Draft: How will the Knicks Blow it this time?

Why are so many members in this forum claiming the Knicks need a PG in this draft?

Is it b/c of coach Dantoni? and his side kick Nash?

Did'nt we learn something from the Championship BIG-3 Celtics....whom took time to develope and groom Rondo into playing at the Big-3 style. And then they signed player-coach Sam Cassell to guide Rondo to play at the next level in the Postseason.

Well our coach Dantoni inhereted 3 Starters (Amare, Marion, And Joe Johnson) when he took the headcoach job of the Phoenix Suns to get his celebrity success in the NBA.
Those same 3 starters beat the Spurs the first two games in a playoff with Marbury & Penny a year before Dantoni became headcoach.
The Phoenix Suns was Marion (Matrix) team when Kidd left! without Marion they got swept in the first round...

question....who is an available big at the 8th pick?

there is 1 7footer projected at the 22nd pick.....
i have an idea....trade the 8th pick for the 22nd pick and get the 7footer who averages 1.5 blks per game....BJ mullings is 7foot and does not even weigh as much as lebron....honestly guys...there ARE NO BIGS in this draft besides griffen and thabeet. if we sign lee, then drafting a rookie pf makes no sense....we have al harrington and lee to cover the 4 spot.

it because he saw what we could accomplish with duhon... we only had one pg last year....no matte rhow much assists n8 had, he played like a 2 guard.

Make no decisions on what will affect the team next year. Al Harrington plays no role on this team in the future. If Jordan Hill slips to the #8 pick you have to take him and find a way to play him.

That was the problem in last year's draft remember. The team had depth in C/PF with Randolph, Lee and Randolph that it didn't make sense short term to draft Lopez.

The only legit SG in this draft are Henderson and Harden...

SF...we're clogged up with Danilo and Wilson

PG...Duhon...enough to say right that.

C...no one.

PF we have Harrington/Lee.

The best/deepest most talented prospects can be found at the one.

This is the draft to get a PG.
