Trevor Keels remind me of a young raw Marcus Smart .. he maybe more defensive-minded than coach Thibs who will bench Keels throughout his rookie season, no matter how well he may perform in the Summer League Games .. Keels defensive performance gave Duke a Super Depth to stay the # 2 team in the NCAA.

Last season before rookie Grimes raw talent went down to injury, his 2-Way performance at the SG spot was needed on the court more than Burks, Fournier, and Barrett. And rookie Keels IQ and defensive impact may be better than Grimes.
No! Keels performance is not a scorer yet, but his transition passing and defensive-hustle will be rewarding in the back-court alongside Quickley or McBride.
Now the Knicks have three SG on their roster in Quickley, Grimes, and Keel !!!

PS .. Leon Rose (No comment) are just the Face, and name in the Knicks organization.
The Knicks FO moves and decision-making hasn't change in 23 years.

The Knicks have reportedly added a second player on an Exhibit 10 contract in forward Garrison Brooks. The 6-foot-9 Brooks spent this past year at Mississippi State, where he averaged 10.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and shot 34.2 percent from 3-point range. He previously attended North Carolina.

Thursday night, the Knicks signed guard Jean Montero to an Exhibit 10 deal. The 6-foot-2 Montero comes from the new high school league, Overtime Elite, that pays players. An Exhibit 10 contract includes an invite to training camp and summer league.

Keels lit up Kentucky this year. His best game. I think it was even in MSG. That?s all Leon Rose needed. His knowledge of hoops limited to KU-CAA universe

He?s a tough LB type but needs better work ethic. Wasn?t in great shape.
