Paul, you repeated yourself; you're not good at winning debates/
Getreal, you're an unemployed college drop out from Rider.
I'm going to be the best personal trainer in the world and train elite athletes to everyday people to the handicapped.
MSG continues to run this site.
Go back to other post Metro....your a hypocrite. You repeat yourself more than anyone. The difference between me and you is that you repeat stuff that was already proven wrong. I have to repeat myself because you forgot what you said.
You were exposed, kid. Get over it.
Marbury's penetration will break down the D, while Houston's range will stretch the defense; the two correlate together.
Exposed by some uneducated fatass?
Thats comical.
The difference between me and you is respect. Jpz17 still has on his ball sack on your forehead. You'll never be at my level, and thats reality, no matter if you had the most post on this site the last 4 months, all of them were garbage.
Houston would fit better in the system.
Houston's experience, skill, leadership, range, and clutchness surpasses Crawford's turnovers, terrible shot selection, and unawareness on the court.
Experience is never forgotten.
Reports have said Houston is in incredible shape.
Even Crawford has been raving about Houston.
Starting Crawford = losing
Starting Houston = winning.
Experience > inexperience.
I'm keeping it in simple terms because you're slow in the cabeza.
My point is, the less minutes we give to guys to Crawford, Randolph and Curry, the more success we'll see for our TEAM.
I'm not asking Houston to lead the team in points, but he's very well capable of averaging 12 points on 40% shooting.
Houston is the perfect compliment to Marbury where as Crawford is the total opposite of a complimentary player.
Marbury's penetration will break down the D, while Houston's range will stretch the defense; the two correlate together.
At the 3, we'll have a complete beast in Chandler, will Gallinari for more range at the 4, and David Lee who's also developing range at the 5.
Lee is a 5 in D'Antoni System, since Amare is also 6"9.
Lee can pass, shoot a high percentage, rebound with the best and is crafty offensively in the post.
Honestly; this is my prediction for my desired roster.
Marbury = 19 ppg 7 assist
Houston = 12 ppg 40% 3pt
Chandler = 17 ppg 45% FG 6 rebs, 1 blk, 1 stl
Gallinari = 11 ppg 38% 3pt 4 rebs, 3 assist
Lee = 16 ppg 12 rebs 60% FG 82% FT
6th man
Robinson
14 ppg
Defensive specialist
Duhon
Ewing Jr.
Back up big man
Jared Jefferies
3pt shooter
Richardson
Thats a solid ass 9 man rotation...
dats exactly what i am saying, but Jpz fails to realize that without marbury, allan houston is pretty much worthless
Lot of dramatic stuff, I feel like I'm in junior high again:eek7:
He said it all right there, we need a guy like Allan to bring together this group of 5 year olds, respect the man, hes a legend..
Right there, your an idiot, because you got proved wrong, but you thought you were right???????? WTF? Man,seems like republicans ALWAYS do that:thumbsup: but! thats insulting what you said, Houston will do great in this, I mean come on, it MIKE D'ANTONI ISN'T IT?!?!?! HES THE BEST COACH FOR A SPOT-SHOOTER.. and we has so many streaky shooters on our team that they will always give the ball to, 1. the guys with the good night, and 2. the guy called ALLAN HOUSTON!!! WE CAN"T DEPEND ON CRAWFORD AND Q! and don't even think about Duhon
you're right, two reasons to not go to the garden this year and only catch an occasional friday night game on MSG, and sit here and talk about next years off-season, but man, think positive, we are New York City aren't we?? We will think of something
NYK=worthless without a guy who can shoot, STFU, YOU DON'T KNOW CRAP! GO BACK TO THE BASICS SON, IT TAKES THE BALL GOING INTO THE HOOP, who on our team can do that?? Q? HECK NO!
co-sign!!!!
no, they just use common sence, get a brain, your username should be "daidiot"
Ewing Jr. might end up on d-league, plus there is a guy that will be cut that we just signed... so thats 15. but I hope we cut rose and james just for the heck of it, they are bad for the locker room and the pay-roll...

all right guys, that abouts wraps up my huge post

Just surprised how you can throw out Crawford in the whole scenario when people are raving about him excelling in this system. And you have 100% trust in Houston being that he is coming out of retirement.
And btw, Keep your insults to yourself...it doesn't make you sound any smarter or more educated in this forum. I call you a hypocrite because your posts prove my point.
And you do have a bias for Houston. I can tell the guy is your favorite Knick ever. No point in arguing with someone who has a bias.
JPZ steppin it up.....keep up the good work and you'll reach elite status.
Metro I co-sign your whole post but i just wanted to bold a couple things for the crawford stans. lol @ crawford being a Allan houston stan :lol:
I say we cut crawford from the team, or give him garbage minutes
lol @ you buying into what people say about crawford. This type of system is the worst for crawford. Hes a chucker who will chuck all day if given the oppertunity, and plays no defense. Heres the type of numbers i would expect from crawford if he was the main ball handler in mike D's system
20ppg (35%fg, 28% 3PT)
25 fg attempts per game
2 free throw attempts per game
5 turnovers per game
1 assist per game
Paul, do you like losing?
Crawford has never been on a .500 team in his career.
Crawford has the worst winning percentage than any other player in the NBA right now.
Do you think things will change after 7 years?
Especially with a roster with no superstars or all stars?
What is the point of starting a loser who constantly overdribbles and takes terrible shots?
D'Antoni's system is pick and roll, full court basketball, simple quick dribbling.
Crawford is half retarded with the pick and roll, he's not that fast dribbling, he's more into flash than going up the court full speed.
Crawford is a 39% FG shooter...dropping him would give Chandler, Lee, Houston, Robinson, Marbury, Gallinari much more shot attempts, all these men shoot a higher % than Crawford.
Thats a positive.
Everything I say has a background of history with validity, supported by stats and past games we've seen Houston succeeded in and Crawford failed in.
Crawford could take more shot attempts and cross more people over, but does that equate to wins or taking the leadership role and teaching our young players the NBA game?
Houston could teach, not only produce...Crawford is still a child in his mind, I don't want that in the locker room.
paul does...
I'm sure he'd take a team like this:
C Eddy Curry
PF Zach Randolph
SF Rickey Davis
SG Jamal Crawford
PG AI
Houston would fit better in the system.
I'm not asking Houston to lead the team in points, but he's very well capable of averaging 12 points on 40% shooting.

this is my prediction
Houston = 12 ppg 40% 3pt
