Knicks lead 79-74 end of 3. Great comeback after being down 13 in the 3rd, KP and the bench having a meh night but the Knicks fought back to take a 5pt lead.

Looked like Melo was celebrating KP's 3 even before it went in with his arms up before KP took the shot on the sidelines. That's confidence in your teammate. lol

Let's see what play Horn draws up. 20 secs left, they'll use all of the shot clock. Melo's shot was half way down and fell out. OT folks.

Terrible finish to what was a glorious end of the 4th quarter. Rose and KP making huge shots, Melo with a sweet assist to Will H... but after NYK take a 3-point lead with 30 seconds left.... Walker drives into Will H, forces contact and gets to call.... and 1.... which is why I always prefer fouling and not letting people get the shot off.

Rookie mistake bc Willy should've fouled him hard enough to ensure he can't score.

then, tie game with 22 seconds left.... we try to run clock down and then go force a bad shot with iso Melo, who misses a wide open cutting KP and, of course, Melo misses the buzzer beater.

Also, bad job by Hornachek bc Melo was hit and he sat the first 6 minutes of the 4th.... ends up only scoring 2 points in the 4th....

What a game!!! They just wouldn't be denied in OT. KP blocking shots left and right.... Melo with a block and some big rebounds.... Melo Atones and sinks the game winner with 3 seconds left. he had a sweet assist to KP for a huge 3 in OT. Felt so good to finally see Melo get a game winner. Feels like is been a loooong time.

defense was a big factor in this game for us.... Hornacek didn't disrupt flow and let them play.... Trust is forming folks.

Huge win!!!! We are defending home court. We play with house money tomorrow.

Melo did more than simply hit the game winner.... he had 35 points (14-25 shooting and 3-6 from downtown), 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and a block. Poor guy was only 4-4 from the FT line, bc he gets no respect from the refs at MSG. This, my friends, is a great game!

Yeah but its a home and home. So both teams shouldn't have an excuse tomorrow.

Great game, Melo with the game ball. Making the game winner against a Charlotte double team on his shot.

Lot of guys came up big in this game not only Melo.

WOW WHAT A GAME! Melo started out hot and never let up the whole game.KP had a huge 4th quarter and huge ot with his scoring and defense.Everybody deserves credit for the W in this game!!

The Knicks trailed by four points at intermission on Friday, but the Hornets extended their lead to 70-57 midway through the quarter. Hornacek then demonstrably drew a technical foul arguing an offensive interference call against Hernangomez, running nearly out to the center-court logo to argue with the officials.
From there, the Anthony-led Knicks embarked on a 22-4 run to close the quarter, grabbing a 79-74 cushion entering the fourth.

-this blurb from NY Daily news says it all, when we look for differences between JH and DF. Fisher never would've fired up the troops like this.

Great Knicks OT Win .. This were tight game from beginning to the end .. Melo finally coming through with some scoring in the 4th qtr. missing the final shot to send the game into overtime then Melo hits the final shot for the OT win.
Scary ending we don't want to have tomorrow night in Charlotte .. coach Horn has to let Quinn n Willy get more shots then they did tonight .. Melo n KP are averaging 40 shots per game n the Hornets got their number for tomorrow night.
I'm looking for a back to back win tomorrow with Jennings Holiday Quinn n Willy having a strong scoring game.
Lets GO Knicks !!!!!

ISO-Melo for game winner on top of a season high 35 points shooting over %50 from the field??? That's a Melo haters nightmare folks but I'm loving it...looks like Horn is whipping these boys into shape faster than we all expected...and that's a good hornets team folks but we win in OT on chief:)
