Somehow last night i just "saved' the thread instead of creating it.
Solid Knicks win in OT against the top team in the league and a classic rival on their home court in a time when the Knicks really needed it after falling four straight times and dropping 7th in the eastern standings.
These two wins against the Cavs and Celtics are proof that the Knicks still have gas and can compete against any team.
Stunning game by Randle with 37 points. Bill Pidto said he had 8 made threes in the post game analysis but the boxscore contradicts him, Randle was 5-13.
We need another one against the Nets now

The Knicks beat the number one winning team in the league the (35-18) Boston Celtics 120-117 in OT.
Grimes dynamic defense on Tatum/Brown was magnificent, the 2nd season Sims vs Robert Williams was a great matchup, and the Knicks 4 bench players (McBride, Quickley, Toppin, Hart) 2-Way lineup performance out scored the Celtics for a 9 pt lead in the first half that made Tatum so frustrated he caught a technical foul for a relentless foul on McBride's pushing the ball in a uptempo transition. And the same Knicks 4 bench players out scored the Celtics in the 2nd half for a Knicks 12 pt lead in the 4th quarter, in which the Knicks starter lineup came on court and lost the Knicks lead by only scoring 4 pts the final 5 minutes of regulation letting the Celtics TIED the score to go to OT.
And RJ Barrett's poor-poor performance throughout regulation hit the winning 3-ball shot in OT to give us the win, when Celtics Brown had the chance to take a one pt lead but missed both FT shots with seconds on the clock forcing the Celtics to Foul.
