Ewing eyes top job
Magic assistant coach Patrick Ewing, whose contract expires at the end of the season, said he has his sights set on getting an interview for a head coaching job this offseason.
The field may never be more fertile for him. There have been eight coaching changes in the NBA this season.
"Sure, I'd want that very much," said Ewing, who returns tonight to New York, where he became an NBA legend as a player. "Of course, I would love to get into a great situation, but a job is a job. We'll see what happens."

Good for Pat. The NBA needs more defensive minded gurus like Pat. I'm getting kind of weary of these fastbreak offenses that every team is now imitating.
I miss the old intimidating defensive pressures and physical aggressive plays that made you go "OHHHH!."
