Ha! So true. I bagged this trade when it came through. I thought Eddie House would walk in here and just chuck 3s like he did in Boston.
But he played really well! I am merrily eating my own words.
Clearly he's not a real PG, not like Rodriguez, but he played good defense and derailed OKC's penetration on a handful of separate occasions. One sequence in particular even helped David Lee block a shot! My God!
All around tonight's defensive effort was better without N8, Duhon and Harrington in there to make a lemon of it.
There were your classic Lee **** ups - none more cringe worthy than not rotating on to Durant which sent the game to OT - but the real stand out to me was Gallo. He played some excellent man to man on Durant in the 3rd quarter. Very aggressive, focused and even firey.
There was so much to love about tonight's game. Even Eddie House.

Looked pretty damn good last night, so I think its time for you guys to stfu.
After that first game this thread is a FAIL
House plays his best in Mike D's system and can be a good sixth man on this team switching between the PG and SG roles.
I like the addition and 24 points in the first game should make you like it to....haters.

Actually i put some more thought into this (before House scored 24 last night, that had no influence on my thinking) and decided that Chris Duhon is a very bad point guard. At least house can his some shots

Most of it was stuff that's already been said on this site 100 times but the part I thought was amusing was that in Marburys China debut he scored 15 and 8 assists. His opposing PG (a guy from South Carolina) scored 34 and 5 assists :lol:
