i dunno if minnesota would agree to it, but t thomas supposedly has "potential", and hes got only 2 yrs left on his contract i think. and he might play well as a 6th man (didnt he win a 6th man of the yr award with the bucks?)...thats what he is - a good 6th man - an overpaid 6th man. wallys a good shooter (something the knicks need with the question marks on houston's health), and good for 15 points a game.
otherwise, ariza should start over thomas. he gets more rebounds, more steals, and has much more upside (hes not even 20 yet). and he could probably average at least 12 points a game if he gets 30+ minutes, which wouldnt be much worse than tim thomas.
crawford needs to improve his shooting. especially 3's. a great shooter is very underrated in the nba. houstons skills arent appreciated as much as they should be. all the players just want to dunk and make spectacular plays - how about working hard in the gym and taking 1000 shots a day and hitting 40-45% of your 3's?
