Scott Foster should get his license to Ref NBA GAMES REVOKED !

Was he the ref who called that phantom foul when Milsap
missed an easy layup?

One ref, standing all the way at half court, on the opposite side of the floor (far away, with no line of sight of action -- defender's back blocking him).... blew his whistle.... late call.... after he saw he missed the layup.

Was he the guy who fouled Melo
Out for putting his left handing Schroeder's hip?

I swear one day the Knicks are going to get all the calls. We got robbed in Atl and against the Wiz. Two techs cost us two points but when the games are that close it matters. Lowe got fined anyone hear an explanation why Schroder didn't get hit with a tech?

Just hard to fathom how the same ref called a phantom foul when Milsap misses a layup, when the ref was 90 feet away (and on other side of the court) but then the same ref swallows his whistle when Melo is hacked right in from twice (Milsap at end of regulation and again by Hardaway at end of 1st OT).

Oh well.

I see when announcers say NBA refs are the best in the world and it's hard to get every call right when you have to make calls in real time when they don't have the best angle to see contact or have to interpret a charge vs. a block. But those tech foul calls kill me when they aren't enforced, they saw the infractions no question but they had the latitude not to call a T, drives me crazy and cost the Knicks 2 points and possessions that might have made a difference in 2 games.

Hahn & Canty, on NBA radio, killed the refs for that embarssmaney yesterday.

Like you said, how do you not enforce a rule and call a technical on Schroeder?

How do you review the Howard foul and not judge that a flagrant-2....

Forget fact it was 39 fouls on NY and 24 on ATL...

Even forget the 26-4 FT disparity from the 4th on....

Bottom line is they could miss a call or two.... Melo hit absolutely hacked by Milsap at end of regulation (he drove and forced the action too), Melo got shoved and whacked by Hardaway at end of 1st OT (knocked his headband off), Lee's defender leaped forward into the air and Courtney drew the foul....

3 obvious calls at end of game,
Critical fouls that should've been called and weren't. 3 times cannot simply be chalked up to "a missed call"....

Especially when you see the refs call a phantom foul for Milsap and that ticket tack call that fouled Melo out....

Noah, KP, Melo, KOQ all fouled out!

What about the play where Howard hit ball out of bounds,
And they ruled a jump Ball?

Bottom line is too much is at stake.... that game took season series away from a 2-2 tie and handed it to ATL....

Who knows if games like that determine seeding and who makes the playoffs.

Maybe that win sends NY flying into All star break, and aTL
Slumps.... NYK finds itself in the playoffs and aTL fading out.... and maybe that means NY goes for playoffs this season instead of being sellers.

That was a disgrace and it was eveident that refs were tilting the game in one direction. The refs officiated differently after the third quarter.... what changes?

How did NY have a 19-8 FT edge then see that totally flip?

Well looks like the 2min report reveals they missed plenty of calls as I stated yesterday, not all on Knicks btw. The 2 ICs were bad though, Melo shouldn't have been fouled out on the DS drive, really pathetic. He was fouled by Milsap DUH! I thought D-12s foul out was petty as well...if they're trying to let players decide the game(the spirit that is). Didn't realize Melo traveled this much, pretty bad to say the least. All-in-all just bad professionals and still complaining hasn't resolved anything.

This report was as brutal as it gets, the worst of the night by far(probably yr) even with the additional play and Adam Silver should feel sick to his stomach they are this bad. The owners are gonna have to step up and publicly demand better from them and/or we need to get a lot better quickly. Everything remains the same as when the season started when everyone was 0-0, nothing has changed.

Yeah.... must have been a Two Minute Novel.... 4 OT and plenty of bad calls (did it catch the Milsap travel).... that Michael
smith is one of the worst. I mean, what's he thinking when a fan throws him the ball.... is he clueless to the rules?

Just painful to this team as a whole bc of everything riding on that game... a shame incompetence rules but like you said, make plays and overcome it.

Just have to laugh bc Melo never gets a FT on those shots. He's taken what? 60 attempts with under 24 seconds and game on the line.... how many free throws?

It's one of the reasons why he's forced to shoot long jumpers, bc he doubts he'll get the call if he goes strong to the hoop (heck, more likely they call an offensive foul if he does).

Short form of the bad calls from the 2 min report. 14 blown calls, 9 in favor of the Hawks 5 for the Knicks. Here is what they missed:

1. With 1:11 left in the 4Q and the Hawks leading 101-99, Joakim Noah should have been called for an offensive foul while setting a screen. Justin holiday would end up hitting a three on that play, giving the Knicks a 102-101 lead.

2. With 54.8 seconds left in the 4Q and the Hawks leading 103-102, Carmelo Anthony should have been called for a foul going for a rebound against Dwight Howard. Howard then scored on a dunk giving the Hawks a 105-102 lead.

3. On that same play, Dennis Schroder should have been called for traveling.

4. With 30.2 seconds left in the 4Q and the Hawks leading 103-102, Schroder should have been called for a loose ball foul on Noah. Anthony missed a pull-up jumper on the play.

5. With 3.5 seconds left in the 4Q and the Hawks leading 104-102, Anthony drove to the basket and made a layup to tie the game. Paul Millsap should have been called for a shooting foul giving Anthony one free throw and a chance to give the Knicks the lead with 2.2 seconds left.

6. With 1:14 left in OT and the Knicks leading 111-108, Howard should have been called for defensive three seconds. This would have given the Knicks a chance to go up by four and have possession. Instead, Anthony missed a three which was rebounded by the Hawks.

7. With 56.3 seconds left in OT and the Knicks leading 111-108, Noah was called for a foul on Howard. Howard made the layup and got a chance to shoot a free throw to tie the game, which he missed. Further review showed that Noah fouled Howard before he began his shooting motion so the basket should not have counted.

8. With 35.2 seconds left in OT, Anthony should have been called for traveling.

9. With 37 seconds left in 2OT and the Hawks leading 121-120, Anthony should have been called for traveling. He missed a three on the play.

10. With 12.9 seconds left in 2OT, Anthony was called for a foul which was his sixth. this caused him to sit for the rest of the game which turned out to be two more overtimes. Review showed that he should not have been called for this foul and should have stayed in the game. Schroder made the layup to give the Hawks a 123-120 lead but missed the free throw.

11. With 4.4 seconds left in 3OT and the Knicks leading 130-128, Holiday should have been called for a foul on Schroder. He made the layup to tie the game and should have got a free throw.

12. With 1:26 left in 4OT and the Knicks leading 139-138, Malcolm Delaney should have been called for a foul on Brandon Jennings. Jennings missed a floater on the play.

13. With 10.2 seconds left in 4OT and the Hawks leading 142-139, Mindaugas Kuzminskas should have been called for a loose ball foul after a Schroder missed free throw.

14. With 5.4 seconds left in 4OT, Muscala should have been called for a foul against Willy Hernangomez. the foul occured before Courtney Lee shot

I disagreed with their judgement that the contact at end of third OT, when ATL defender leaped forward and was caught in air, and Lee jumper into the contact.... the report said this was a correct no call. I call B.S. This is always called.

Actually if it was "always" called then that would be "consistent" and consistent they are not. I've seen them inconsistently make no call, make a call against defender, make a call against the offensive player. Depends on what side of the bed the woke up on that morning or if they left money with a bookie the night before showtime

Well, true.... I recall a Knicks player it getting the call earlier this year, and that was after KOQ made a great move in the paint me the defender tries to to recover and leaps forward and hit KOQ....

2 minute report after that game said it was a missed call.

Most often, if a star G is anywhere between half court and the 3-point line.... even if back to basket and he attempts a hook shot.... ref gives them 3 shots.

These refs are bad across the board, throughout the league.

So did anyone click on the link with Donaghy showing how shaddy business is going on with the refs ?

I did but Foster might have been the crew chief for Donaghy or working the game with him or even friends so calls between the 2 are just circumstantial.
