Senior also wore 6 in Orlando (I believe Grant Hill had 33).

Also, 33, or 3 + 3 = 6.

As long as he honors his dad, it's all good.

I think Al Hahn was right, why would Knicks.com make such a big deal about the number he chose if they didn't think he had a chance to be on the roster.
