I think to keep his choice shielded from media

prior to him saying it himself on National TV at the end of the hour long special, to keep the drama.. It has to be in Arkon, OH. If he holds it in Miami, Chicago or NY.. Then it kind of gives it away prior to him even saying it. The special sort of loses its luster so to speak. So, I think to keep everyone in suspense he has to hold it somewhere in Ohio.

But not Cleveland, of course.

LeBron LOVES Akron and he talks about how much he loves the city and how it'll always be his home.

Know that he never says that about CLEVELAND
