A post rooted in the most basic and essential parts of reality, and logic.
Amazing.
Who'd of thunk that an undrafted kid, bounced around his entire, short NBA career, could benefit before being thrust into a heated New York Knick's starting PG role, by spending some time with the Knicks, and building up their game and confidence, D-league play notably included?
Fact is, nobody knows (not that anyone ever even could) "when" Lin could have first started for us, at the earliest, and reaped maximum success.
Throwing at points in time like mid-way through a Celtic game, or anything like that....is just retarded.
We can add this to one more reason why any intelligent human, even if they didn't know shit about basketball, would heave huge money on betting on MDA being a good coach, vs a terrible coach, simply by looking at the people and caliber of arguments that go against him.
It's comical, and borderline-pitiful, that so many actually have the balls and lack of awareness to act like they are arbiters of when this point in time was for Lin -- when he "should" have been starting, or playing.
Just be happy D'antoni is doing more to run your basketball life, and not yourself, and sit back and enjoy the epic assurance and play of Lin.
No doubt, if we win a chip with D'antoni, not much will change the kool-aid drinkers.
*Lin received no athletic college scholarships
*Lin declared, and went undrafted by the NBA
*Repeatedly sent to the D-League by the Warriors, never received a fully guaranteed contract (even a basement level variety)
*Picked up and almost immediately dropped back to waivers by the Rockets
Now, 5weeks after being picked up and coached by Mike D'antoni, who Lin himself thinks, and anyone who knows shit about basketball knows, is a great pairing....is the starting New York Knick PG, and is lighting it up with his play.
This is what we know. That Lin is exceeding expectations, to momumental degrees, under the coaching and system of D'antoni, which was rounding itself up prior to Lin starting, regardless.
And that no other team, or coach, in the league could be reasonably expected to be capable of doing what has been done.
But maybe D'antoni is just lucky that Steve Nash decided to go from aged and aging borderline all-star to lock-HOF'er....that Felton went from borderline starter to borderline all-star and gave us success last year from the point.....
And that the entire NBA universe didn't have the genius of some of KO's finest to check out
www.YouTube.com, and see what a clear world-beater Lin is.
