November 10, 2004 -- With the noose tightening around his neck, embattled coach Lenny Wilkens tightened his rotation last night. And the Knicks responded by playing tighter defense.
Wilkens used an eight-man rotation, gave Jamal Crawford and Stephon Marbury their most extended runs of the season and stuck with struggling center Nazr Mohammed. In other words, he coached a different way in getting the Knicks' first win of the season.
