lets sign JR now to an extention now b4 his price goes up...
Steve Clifford benched Lance Stephenson in the 4th qtr one game and when asked why said he was playing like crap and he played to win bball games, maybe DFish needs to sit Melo.
Here's some silver lining for you. One, at least we have a first round draft pick this year in case we continue to look like a lottery team. Two, if we keep playing terrible basketball like this, it will provide plenty of garbage minutes for Early to play and possibly develop into something worth being excited about.

We really miss Calderon. We have no facilitator... And Jose led NBA in 3-point shooting last year. We are a weak defensive and rebounding team, which means some matchups are tough and will expose that. Our only hope is to win with hustle, energy, teamwork and offense. Didn't watch the game... I can't... It's impossible to watch this brand of hoops with the stagnant offense. Low bball iq makes it hard to...
Hello! Not wise to halt ball and wait for defense to set up... And when teams don't have to move a lot on defense, it helps them on offense. Anyway... This is like watching 8th graders... All they do is shoot jumpers and miss 65% of the time.
Our guards are really worst group in NBA. This isn't hyperbole. Shump and JR are barely even NBA roster able. Impossible to win most nights with our guard play. And we have no chance to win when the other team drains 10+ threes and Carmelo misses 15 shots.
Its hard to bash Melo tho bc defenses swarm him and make him chuck it or they foul him (refs never call the fouls either so why not be ultra physical). They dare NY... To beat them with ball in everyone else's hands. Wouldn't you? Melo literally has no help on offense, aside from the occasional night.
And don't let Shump fool you. His points come at the expense of shutting offense down as he dominates the ball too. He has no instinct to score. He might improve enough to bang down the occasional 3... But how can you win in today's NBA with our guards when most teams have a Deron and a Joe?

Stinking this year will be a blessing b/c it will prevent Phil Jax from making any short-sighted moves to improve for this year and it'll encourage him to dump off expiring pieces (amare, Shump, bargnani) to playoff teams for future assets or young players. It will also get us a very good player moving fwd.
One more painful year to endure aNd then we have cap space in 2015 and again in 2016. We are talking 2-3 all star caliber players. Kobe probably comes over here as a vet after next year too. Winning 39 games and get the 12th pick or getting knocked out early in 2nd round does nothing for us come next season. Suck and get a top 10 pick!

not so sure.. 'IF' someone wants one of our 'gems', we gotta take back equal (or almost) contracts... get rid of amare, we need to take back 20+ mill of ****ty player(s) and maybe get a draft pick... as to the other 'gems'... if u r a gm in the race, r u looking at the

Calderon will make a difference......Melo"s fault is when he is passed the ball he must already decide of what he is doing with the ball....Meaning he will always be double teamed so he should draw in the double and then pass.....Instead it seems like "Groundhog day " for Melo.....when is double teamed he then decides what to do with the ball instead of using it to his advantage and setting someone else up....
