Cavs 111 - Boston 102 .. Series Tied 2-2
The Cavs grabbed a 16 point lead in the first quarter .. and the Celtics chase n chipped at the Cavs lead the rest of the game to get it down to 7 points midway through the 4th quarter. The Cavs 8 man rotation played 2-Way B.ball for the win in Cleveland tonight to tie the series at 2-2.
Next Stop .. Boston Garden on Wednesday night for Game-5 .. How do you beat the Celtricks in Boston !!!

Its not looking good for the Rockets in Game-4 .. the Rockets went 0-8 the first 7 minutes of the first quarter without scoring.
Warriors got a 28 - 19 lead to end the first quarter.

Gritty defensive performance by the Rockets, no quit in them tonight with them being down 10 pts to start the 4th qtr. but they pull it out despite a poor second half by Harden. CP3 led the way 5-9 from 3 with 27 pts.

Harden ran out of energy after scoring 20 something points in the 2nd quarter to take the lead .. CP3 came alive in the 4th quarter, and Gordon 3 ball sealed the win in crunchtime.

Rockets 95 - Warriors 92 .. Series Tied at 2-2
Game-4 maybe the best game-played out of the series .. Great Game !!!
Both teams Battled tonight by out playing each other in the next quarter of the game ..
The Warriors took the First quarter 28-19 .. then came the Iso-Harden Rockets charging back to take the lead to end the 2nd quarter 34-18 .. After the Rox Half-Time lead 53-46 .. the Warriors took control of the 3rd quarter out scoring the Rockets 34-17 taking a 80-70 lead to start the 4th quarter .. The Rockets 4th quarter defensive STOPS held the Warriors to 12 points in the quarter for the Rocket win .. Steph Curry had the chance to send the game into overtime on a .005 second 3-ball shot that missed.
Very close game at the end !!!

Nice recap Kiya. Gordon needs to shoot better, he was one of 8 from 3. Curry didn't get that last shot off in time so it wouldn't have counted if he made it. Dubs didn't have Iggy and Kerr said it was a factor. Rox break the Warriors 16 playoff game win streak at Oracle since KD joined the team.

How HOU won that game with Harden scoring 5 points in the second half is mind-boggling. It?s suddenly a series. Best of 3 and 2/3 in HOU. Credit to Chris Paul... great final three quarters after an awful start.

Boston held a 10 point or more lead over the Cavs throughout the game shooting a poor 36% from the FG, and 33% from the 3-ball line.
Boston summer-league tandem of J.Brown & Tatum 2-Way performance were to much for the Cavs team to handle tonight.
Boston's tough Defense insulted the Cavs offensive strategy by holding the Cavs to less than 90 points in Game-5

They commented throughout the game that Lebron wasn't himself and that he was struggling with fatigue yet the guy scores 26 pts on 50% shooting and has a double-double, how great is the guy. He got very little help esp out if his guards, that Celts D was the story, one regular season game I commented 3 key CELTS hit 9-42 shots and still managed to win the game, that was the case yesterday with the CELTS only hitting 36% of their shots but still managed to beat the Cavs easily.

Fizdale and 3 of our young players Nits, Dotson and Mudiay were at the game. Great game to watch for them to stress that defense alone can win you games even if you're struggling offensively. Let's see if Fizdale can install that kind of defensive grit in the Knicks.

I recall the 90's Knicks (Ewing/Oak/Starks) winning plenty games having the same type of tough defense plus shooting below 40%.
The Cavs players took to many meaningless shots from the 3-ball line when their plan in Boston should have been attacking the basket in the paint to keep Boston in foul trouble every quarter. Plus Korver should have been in the offense more to take 10 3-ball shots (instead of 5) out of the teams 9-34 3-ball shots.


The Knicks coach Fiz did well by taking our 3 defensive-minded guards (Knits/Dotson/Mudiay) to Game-5 of the ECF .. Both teams guards performed a great defense throughout the game. I wish Burke would've been a part of Fiz group of guards to watch how Rozier defended and kept the ball movement alive.

GS 4th qtr. defensive scheme is great forcing the Rox to go isolation, but Rox are hitting their Iso-shots 92-86 Rox .. 4 minute remaining in game

If I told you Harden/Paul shot a combined 11/40 and Harden was 0-11 from 3, you would think no way could they win this game. Rox with another clutch defensive performance and with clutch 4th qtrs by Gordon and Paul. Rox 1 game from the NBA finals, Harden is due, he hasn't made a 3 pt shot in 6 qtrs but Paul left the game late with a hammy. Look for some news on Paul 's injury for game 6.

Rockets 98 - Warriors 94 .. Rockets lead series 3-2
Game-5 in the WCF had another great game to watch .. yep this great show-down series are going 7 games! I doubt the Rox could beat the Warriors on Saturday in Game-6 having a sore injured CP3 who may have to rest next 3 days.
Tonight, the Rox over matched the Warriors tough defensive-strategy throughout the game, by having their own defensive strategy, plus the scoring were even between both teams having 3 players each score 20 points or more, but down the stretch when Draymond Green went into his Barkley-Mode at driving into the paint to score to make it a one point game in the final minutes of crunchtime put a scare into the Rox.
CP3 took over again to hold the lead, but looked like he pulled a hamstring in the closing minute of the game, the Rox did get great help off the bench from Gordon's 24 points n relentless defense.

Harden pulls off a John Starks impression and HOU wins.
Harden has been awful offensively 7 of the last 8 quarters, yet HOU wins.
Harden has missed his last TWENTY 3-pointers, yet HOU wins.
Harden 1-8 shooting in second half (8-8 from FT line), with 2 turnovers... yet HOU wins.
Harden has scored a combined 15 points in the second half of Games 4&5, yet HOU wins.

It was an absolutely brutal game and now Harden has missed 20 treys in a row, including 11 misses tonight to tie him with John Starks in 1994 for most 3-point attempts without a make in a playoff game
