DENVER (AP) -- The Denver Nuggets signed rookie free agent center Chris Marcus on Thursday, expressing confidence in his future despite injuries.
Terms were not released.
The 7-foot-1 Marcus averaged 14.1 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.71 blocks in 79 games at Western Kentucky. Foot injuries limited him to 19 games over his final two seasons.
``Chris has experienced some setbacks with injuries, but he has worked very hard to earn this opportunity,'' Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe said. ``We feel he has a very bright future.''
