Marbury just because this dude single handily carried the Knicks averaging 22 and 9 into the playoffs. Thats the last time we ever made the playoffs BTW. I believe Lenny Wilkins was the coach, if not, it was Don Chaney.
You put a 22 and 9 penetrating machine in this offense with Fields, Gallo, Chandler and Amare, and you got a little better team.
Don't get me wrong, I like Felton and what he's doing, except his shooting.
But Marbury was a phenomenal talent in a bad environment.
Felton is surrounded by a good environment, so its not that simple to assess. Environments play a huge factor for athletes. Thats why Kobe didn't want to go to New Orleans and Steve Francis demanded a trade...or Yi Jianlian or Eli Manning...the list goes on and on.
