Tiger jumping right in for Rady these last couple games with the game threads.

I strongly considered my idea from last night of just throwing myself headfirst down a flight of stairs instead of watching the game, but I eventually decided that would require too much effort. Instead, I'll keep going with the long drawn out misery of watching this team play.

Another night of watching the worst backcourt rotation in the NBA. Let's do this.
 
Porzingis a late scratch because of a leg injury. Derrick Williams gets the start. Kiyaman rejoices.
 
Afflalo coming out aggression. He clearly wants to play a more significant role in the offense the last couple games.
 
Evidence that the MSG crowd is the best home crowd in sports? We're a dumpster fire as a franchise and this crowd is still going crazy that we have taken an early lead tonight.

Afflalo looks great tonight in the 1st quarter. He almost looks like a guy who plans to decline his player option and try for a bigger contract in free agency, but you didn't hear that from me.
 
Good start for the Knicks. We're now up by 10 after a 9 - 0 run going into the early 2nd quarter. Are you excited if you are Knicks' fan? No, of course not, this is every game for us. We just brace for the 2nd half collapse.
 
They're talking about what we have talked about here that LT and DWill offensive slump contributing to the Knicks struggles. In LT case they showed his decline from when he had his concussion.

I genuinely like the way Lance Thomas plays. Even when he is not scoring, he makes hustle plays, grabs contested rebounds, and plays high energy defense. Derrick Williams on the other hand, if he is not scoring, he is not worth having out there.
 
We may be winning by 7 and the Pistons may only have 34 points with 5 minute to go in the first half, but I swear, our defense still looks like crap.
 
We shoot almost 60% and the Pistons shoot less than 40% in the first half. Afflalo with an unreal 7 for 7 in the first half playing 22 first half minutes. We lead 57 - 42 at the half. Again, if you are a Knicks fan, you are not excited, because you are just waiting for the 2nd half collapse.
 
A first JC steals the ball from Jackson, passes to AA who passes it back and he knocks down a 3. A two way play by Calderon.
 
Pistons start 2nd half on an 8 - 2 run. Lead is already back down to single digits less than 3 minutes into the 2nd half. Knicks fans have seen this movie before and don't tend to enjoy where it typically ends about an hour from now.
