The New York Knicks are flying high at the moment and just beat the defending champion Golden State Warriors by 38 points Tuesday. But as the Knicks look to extend their winning streak to nine on Wednesday night against the Toronto Raptors, they will be without a key starter. Shooting guard Quentin Grimes is dealing with an ankle sprain and is doubtful to suit up here, as reported by SNY’s Ian Begley.

No Grimes = one player defense in starter lineup.
And Thibs refuse to make a 2nd unit lineup this season.

Siakum on pace for 52. No QG. RJ 7-12 (4-4 from downtown) with 19 points. Knicks trail 63-53 at half. So much for TOR being awful in half court sets. Might have to play Sims more in second half. Free Cam? Tough night on the back2back.

The Raptors dominated the 2nd quarter, having consistent 3 on 1 fastbeaks, back door plays.
The Raptors took 50 FGA to the Knicks 38 FGA
Knicks need a big turn around in their performance in the 2nd half.
I would start feeding MitchRob down low for quick baskets, and let Hart & Sims in on the scoring.
 
15-4 turnover edge for TOR; same with a 13-8 OFF rebound advantage. 96-91 with about 6 left to play. TOT clearly desperate, after losing a bunch lately, and NYK played last night and don’t have QG. Credit NYK for keeping in the game, for a few times they were on verge of this getting out of hand. TOR getting the whistle… let’s see how they finish.
 
IQ on fire from downtown. Randle a man possessed. 28-12-4!

101-100 with a few minutes left. Brunson has just 5 points… 11 assists tho
 
RJ drives down the paint with a monster thunderous dunk! Knicks take the lead … he has 30-5-5

NYK ball too but IQ called for a travel.
 
They miss 3 shots but IH is worthless…2 offensive rebounds… on the third miss, ref waited until he missed it and sent Siakum back to FT line for his 14-15th attempts. Suck a bad call. Barry any contact. Didn’t impact the shot. They block ball, get loss ball, drain a 3. Up 4 just like that.

By the way… RJ was hacked in elbow by OG but no call. Play on. Been like that all game. TOr gets away with physical defense but Siakum gets every call.
 
Siakum gets a fifty burger… Randle had ball slip out of hands going up for a dunk.

NBA so rigged. No way an impartial official calls that foul for Siakum at end with NYK up 1 then swallows whistles on the ensuing possession when RJ is hacked. RJ was attacking too and PS fading away. Siakum with 18 FT attempts?

The sad part of tonight's game was we (Knicks) were on the end of a back to back ..
Brunson ran out of gas in the first quarter,
MitchRob legs were cramping up,
Barrett was scoring but so was every opponent he defended,
Randle was dead-tired when the ball hit the rim going up for the dunk.
The 9th win wasn't important to the INJURY-coach Tom Thibs or we would've seen a 10 or 11 man rotation on the court at the end of a back to back.

Everything's cool around here for now, the panic moment we had 10 months ago cleared out by the summer, thanks for asking, mafra. But the situation is still bad, first of all for Ukraine because Putin doesn't really care about how many casualties his army is suffering, he's just pushing for more and more men until Ukraine will become too tired to fight back. Hopefully that will not happen as long as it is being supported.

If however, that happens i am expecting Russia to take on another country and i'm really afraid that his next target would be Moldova - a small country between Romania and Ukraine, heavy influenced by Russia in the past 30 years. However, the previous general elections were won by a pro western group that also has EU and NATO aspirations, more accelerated since the war broke out. Now since historically Moldova and Romania were the same country (until WW II) and both peoples speak the same language, IF Putin decides to invade Moldova next, than the situation will become extremely difficult and sensitive and i wouldn't be surprised if this would be used as a tactic to attract NATO into a more global war.

From my point of view getting at war with NATO is nonsense and Russia has nothing to gain from this, on the other hand their leader is a lunatic and nobody can tell what goes through his mind. Sorry for the off topic.
