Wsup Rady .. Thanks for the Game Thread .... we are on a 4 Games in 6 day schedule.
Mitch is out, Quickley is doubtful, and our 4 game schedule are saying we need a 10 man rotation to go 4-0 or 3-1.

Tonite we are in Utah facing a injury-prone Jazz team, that's 1-4 in their last 5 games.
Last week the Dallas Mavs beat the Jazz by 50 points (147-97).
The NBA League are not looking to good having 8 teams with 15 losses in 20 games, and 11 teams having 13 losses in 20 games.
 
Half Time .. Knicks 50 - Jazz 52
Barrett and Randle have to learn to pass the ball on a fast break when their teammates are in front of the fast break

Oh yeah .. Barrett is 1-11 from the FG
 
RJ is an abysmal 3-15 shooting tonight. 0-7 from downtown. He 3point shooting since end of Nov is baaaaad. At least he’s making 85% of his FT attempts.

As a team, Knicks 6-27 from downtown through 3 quarters.
 
End of 3rd Quarter .. Knicks 84 - Jazz 89

The Knicks starter lineup played the first 8 minute of the 3rd qtr. and the Jazz out played and out-scored on our starter lineup. Brunson played 10 minute in the 3rd, and Randle played the entire 3rd quarter
 
8 Minutes remain in the game .. Knicks 86 - Jazz 100

Barrett 3-15 from FG .. 9 pts
Brunson 5-15 from FG .. 16 pts
 
Down 7 with 3 minutes left, Knicks get a stop but JB doesn’t box out Sexton, who grabs rebound over JB and Hart.

RJ, JB, QG, and Hart are a combined 0-17 from downtown. Knicks have missed 9 FT in the game (5 in the 4Q alone). Down 5 with 2 left.
 
Randle sets up Hart…. For 3…. Brick. IQ gets offensive rebound, kicks it out for JB… brick.

Simply awful job by Thibbs not drawing up a play for DVD. He was hot, with 16 points in the 4th…. 9-37 from downtown…. JB-Hart-RJ-QG 0-19 from 3land. Randle with 31… 0 in 2Q and 1 point in 4th.
 
They end 9-39 from downtown. 22-32 from FT line. The aforementioned 4 finish 0-20 from downtown.

Knicks gonna be fortunate to crawl to Jan and be above .500. Don’t see it happening.

6-7 on road far. 10 games remain this month, 8 on road. Both home games vs Bucks.

Knicks get to lose to FRI tomorrow. Got no interest watching them anymore.

Donte scores 17 pts in the 4th quarter ..
That Sexton offensive-rebound over 3 Knicks, Randle/Donte/Brunson took all my faith out of a Knicks win tonight.
They saying this was the Jazz best game of the season.
We had 21 assist compared to Jazz 31 assist ..
We shot 9-39 from 3's compared to Jazz 16-42 from 3's
 
Can somebody please explain how a team can't hit a shot? I can understand if one or two players are not hitting for some reason, but for almost the entire team to be bad at 3's and FT is beyond my comprehension .......
And whats with the 3 point defense recently, what has changed?

When you have a coach that is still living in his old coaching days. You get this kind of performance.
For those that haven’t realized that the Knicks aren’t a good shooting team from 3’s. That means going against the league recommendation to shoot 3’s even if you aren’t good at it.
A coach good would run an offensive base on mid-range jumper and getting the ball down low(now that is another topic in itself…MRob).
Thib’s doesn’t recognize the player with the hot hand. The 4th quarter is set in stone and there is no change.
The bit of good coaching was done by Mike Miller.

The Knicks are actually a good shooting team from 3. they are in spite of the slump in the 8th place in 3s percentage, so they are in the top tier in terms of shooting percentage......
Not sure if the coach is to blame in this, as they are shooting good shots, they are just not hitting them, the whole team, not sure if it is mental or something they are doing before some games which is messing their shooting percentage..... but you can't see all the team missing badly without a reason....

It’s easy to say they are good but if they ain’t falling… this happens every year.
Ain’t no TEAM in league scared of the Knicks 3’s shooting.., none!!
Agree coaching can’t make you hit your 3’s but he and players should know when “they ain’t falling do what”??
“They are shooting Good Shots” your quote… so what should that tell you?
So you would lose a game because you not knotting down 3’s?
How about trying or doing something else.
Ever heard of what good shooters do when there shots aren’t falling?
