Horrible second quarter, missed threes, missed layups while the Thunder end the first halftime with a 6 point lead. Knicks allowing close to 80 points so far
OKC killing us from long distance, all players who attempted the three has made at least one. They're 12-20 and we barely made 5 in 14

I woke up to late for the game, but caught the closing (5) minutes of a Knicks no-stop defense which meant OKC wanted the WIN more than the Knicks.
Obi was shooting 80% FGs and 66% on 3's and only got 14 minutes in a up-tempo game SMH
The BS about Obi not getting playing time because of shooting was a damn lie from Thibs mouth.
Thibs should lose his job always hitching on to a half court ISO Randle.
It look like the OKC trio backcourt took over the game in the 2nd & 3rd quarter to embarrass the famous defensive coach Tom Thibs by scoring 122 points in 3 quarters.
Tom Thibs famous defense are getting consistent at failing to defend the perimeter by giving wide open jumpers to opponents all game.
OKC shot 62% from FG, and 55% from the 3-ball line, and 90% from FT.
This week I'm looking for Knicks media to start printing the Knicks hiring coach Udoka !!!

We know what it is folks, he doesn't know what to do with this roster. Maybe no coach would but what we do know, he doesn't. He was asked a pointed question relating to the Brooklyn game and he Flopped on his answer
I particularly couldn't stand his answer when questioned about RJ's benching. Not because RJ was benched, he played terribly buuuuuutttt Evan Fournier filled in down the stretch. Do not look at the boxscore you will be frightened to death as Thibs said we were "looking for life"

Gentlemen, this isn’t the first game that Thib’s shows problems figuring out who is having a good game and who’s not.
He should be playing everybody in games that you have a big lead. You never know when someone might be need the next game.
This isn’t the first time RJ has played terrible this year or last year or the year before that. So please that act like this is something unusual because it not. When he plays defense he get into foul trouble which isn’t often. Taking the opposing team best scorer is a bunch of BS. Today was one of those days when he want to show out in front of fans at home after scoring 37 points in the previous game.

Thibs was never supposed to be hired. Atkinson got canned for Nash, that alone would give him a chip on his shoulder vs the Nets as our new coach. Passing on Halliburton and signing Thibs told me we weren’t serious about developing a team with Chemistry.
Then passing on Jalen Williams at # 11 and sent it to OKC.
This kid is 6”5 7-2 inch wingspan can dribble shoot defend and pass, the perfect combo guard with size k owing we have a bunch of 6 feet PG’s

hey now. long time. i was at game today with Knicks Film School crew. End of 3rd Q, OKC had a ridiculous stat line, like 70% from the field, 92% free throws, 65% from three, just crazy shit. Shai Gilgeous seemed to score at will, you could see where he wanted to go, and no Knick could stop him from getting there.
Cam looked really good, and Knicks would be smart to keep giving him minutes, to boost his confidence; his D and athleticism stand out. Randle does not hustle 100% of the time, and is not a hi IQ player; he's good doing what he does best, that's one on one, and hitting set threes in the flow of the game. But he can't help play hero ball, and ball movement does not exist with him on the court. I don't think the knicks moved the ball around the horn the entire game.
Obi's lack of minutes are disgraceful; even when he's playing well, he's benched in favor of unaccountable Randle. Benching RJ and playing Fournier who did nothing? Despicable coaching! Brunson getting benched? Gaaahhhh! Newsflash for Thibs: Brunson, RJ, and Obi were needed to mount a comeback, and they barely saw the floor when it counted.
I have faith in RJ to get going, I have confidence in his driving and thriving ability in traffic, much moreso than Randle as highest usage player. RJ gets to the hoop like a snake, like a maple mamba. Although he's missing now, that will change with confidence and time, and even his misses get scooped up half the time for O bounds.
The sooner the Knicks trade Randle and Fournier, the better the Knicks will get. If they're tanking, I'm all for it, and I'll ride that Wembayana train.

Jalen Williams was my pick too for the Knicks at the 11th pick as a 6.5 scoring G/F in the midseason rotation.
Does this have to do with Thibs's plan of packing the paint, and then we can't close out the 3pt line shooters?

Leon Rose looked like an idiot spending draft erasing his blunders from the previous year’s free agent catastrophes. Knicks need as much youth, talent, and athleticism they can acquire…. But they acted like forming a big 3 around Randle and Brunson would take them places.
We all pleaded to flip Randle, Rose and Evan for Westbrook and picks. Did they even attempt that?
If you couldn’t shed a few million then offer JB less or pass on him.
