This is only an example & a question @ the same time. Not saying we'll land this specific player but I'm confident we"ll land one of either M.Gasol, Jordan, Nene, Dalembert or even a Oden for cheap.

Thats the question. Because we cant keep Billups for 12M + sign a BIG; it's just not going to be possible.
Also; keep in mind the age difference between an aging Billups (maybe 2 years left) compared to Jordan who's 22-23 years of age with 10+ years to contend with.
Also keep in mind that both Douglas & Jordan are HUGE defensive upgrade(s) over Billups & Jeffries.
