Metta and Beno to be bought out

They weren't playing, they were unhappy so it makes sense but firing Woody would have been the better move. 2 Roster spots, Earl Clark, Big Baby, Pierre Jackson maybe?
 
Almost seems as if we are waving the white flag that we have any chance left to get the 8th playoff spot. However, if we fill those 2 spots with some young, upside guys, it might be more fun to watch for a month or two than MWP and Beno sitting on the bench. That said, we're currently not even playing Murry or Aldritch, so I doubt anyone we sign is going to get rotation minutes as Woodson continues to run our regular rotation players into the ground for no good reason.

why should Woodson change anything he is doing ???? we are almost winning and despite him saying we played only 6 minutes of defense he leaves those same players in...............maybe we will bring back Chris Smith now...and maybe its only matter of time until we hear Stat will need knee surgery
 
i can only assume CAA wants the Knicks to sign someone on their client roster, so they can make some dough-lan. whatever... as mentioned, neither man was playing at this point in season, so whatever new blood comes in has a better chance of playing than either Beno or MWP. watch Beno thrive with whatever team picks him up, and Knicks will bleed in his dust.
 
Buying guys out to tank makes no sense with no draft picks but this is the Knicks. If they buy out these guys and don't have somebody in mind to fill out those roster spots, there is something seriously wrong with Mills.

If you aren't going to make any roster moves, let them play out the season, they can at least be insurance if anyone else gets injured.

Beno spoke up and thats NO NO in Woodsons world and he was destined to the Bench.....

See Beno should have learned if you want to get on Woodys good side then Elbow Terry , get suspended, Party the night before a playoff game, get suspended for weed, Tweet that the Knicks do u wrong by releasing your brother, Refuse to shoot in a game, express that Sat matinee games are not good for him due to being out the night before< Untie players shoe laces, Have coach tell u to stop playing games and then do it again as your way of saying screw u coach and then get fined 50,000 dollars.....

BENO should have kept his mouth shut...

Here's something thats not mention by the Big Apple Media ....

Will a playoff team pick-up Beno or World Peace, after the buy-out?
What playoff experience do they have on their resume?
Let's see .. both players have RINGS playing two years under a Championship HOF Headcoach (Pop & Jax).
How long were World Peace & Beno was suppose to sit speechless on the bench watching HC Woodson inferior coaching method?

If u were the Knicks HC .. would u have built a 2nd-unit bench-lineup of "Beno, THJ, MWP, Amare, and Cole" at the start of the season? Giving that bench-lineup 9 minute runs in the first-half, and 9 minute runs in the 2nd half of each game?
So all 5 starters could average 32 minutes in the same lineup to build a same-page chemistry as the season goes on.

Why did Woodson coach the Knicks the same-way coach-Karl coached the Melo-Nuggets, letting Melo pad his stat sheet for 48 minutes, while a terrible decision-making JRsmith control the bench-players offense???
