January 26, 2014 | New York outlasted Los Angeles on a Sunday afternoon as the Knicks outscored the Lakers 15-11 over the final seven minutes to record their second straight victory at Madison Square Garden. New York was paced by Carmelo Anthony?s 35 points, five assists and four rebounds over 40 minutes. Raymond Felton recorded 20 points on 8-10 shooting and five assists over 36 minutes. This was Felton?s first 20-point performance of the season. Tyson Chandler recorded a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds over 30 minutes. Tim Hardaway Jr. added 18 points and J.R. Smith added 16 points off the bench. Los Angeles was led by Jodie Meeks 24 points (8-13 FG) and three rebounds over 43 minutes. February 3, 2013 | New York fell behind early 13-3 but took complete control of the game as they went on to score 117-68 the remainder of the game as they cruised to a 120-81 victory over the Sacramento Kings at the Garden. New York drilled 19-triples which is tied for the second most in franchise history. The 39-point victory is the largest margin of victory since Mar. 14, 2012 win vs. POR when they won by 42-points. The 30-15 record is the best record after 45-gmaes since 1996-97. The Knicks grabbed a season high 52 rebounds and dished out a season best 34 assists. The 120 points are the second most points scored this season. New York was paced by J.R. Smith?s 25 points, six rebounds and four assists over 22 minutes. Amar?e Stoudemire finished with 21 points on 10-10 shooting and six rebounds over 21 minutes. The 10 FGM without a miss fell one short of the Knicks all-time franchise record (twice- B. King and J. Newman- 11-11 FG). Tyson Chandler posted 11 points and 20 rebounds for his 18th double-double of the season. He has now grabbed 20-rebounds in consecutive games. Carmelo Anthony?s streak of 31-straight 20-points games was snapped as he posted nine points, five rebounds and three assists over 27 minutes.
