I dunno.. Thats a decent front court.. Prince, Amare and Greg Monroe.. Brandon Knight will have another year under his belt. And they getting another good draft pick this year in a deep draft.

you might be right well this is 1.0 lol

I don't think Vets minimum is enough for Novak.

Yeah, he might have bad defense but he's still the #1 3-point shooter specialist.

all he can is shoot 3's, he cant defend, he cant rebound

he is a specialist, vets minimum type player

Amar'e and his contract are impossible to get rid of. No NBA team is going to do that favor for the Knicks without demanding their next 5 first round draft picks from them. The only way I see the Knicks trading away Amar'e is if he gets back to averaging at least 20 ppg next season and the Knicks find a pursuer that's desperate to win a championship right away.

I think there are teams that will take a fly at him.

The reason he sucked all year is because of Melo. It doesn't need to go deeper than that.

I don't think he's lost that much, he's still very close to the player he was last year.

It's just that this isn't a good fit for him. Melo squeezes guys out, Melo is way too dominant for a guy like Amar'e to get his numbers.

Amar'e can still play at a very high level in the right offense, and the team that will feature something like this offense can take a shot at him.

I like that, let's dot it.

Might not be an ideal team or a championship team, but it's by far better than everything our management has done in the past 10 years.

I like the trade ideas but I just don't see anyone taking on that Amare (uninsured) contract. We're in a new era where owners don't want to pay max salaries anymore unless its a true superstar player. With a few more years still on that massive contract, it will put a heavy load on any team.

I agree with knicksin60 that he'll have to get back to averaging 20 and 8 for some teams to maybe take a chance on him. I also believe that he can still be effective offensively under the right offense, BUT will that happen here?
