Sooo, Curry's contract

We're in a great position now with us playing well so either we use it to trade for a good player to improve our team...or it comes off the books after this season.

At this point Denver's idiot GM may very well need to look to talk with Walsh and is gonna have to accept Curry for Melo straight up (it's still a great deal for them with all that money coming off).

So who are some players you'd trade for without giving up the players in the rotation? Anybody who knows about how trades and money works in the NBA, help out.

Melo
Nash (if he's willing to be the back-up PG, why not? Don't expect this to happen, but worth a shot if nothing else happens at the deadline)
Camby (still a beast, and would love him to be a Knick again and hopefully stay with us)
Verajao?
McGee?

Denver will not take a curry for melo straight up.. they both have expiring contract so they both come off the books.. if melo opts out...which he will

they can get more from another team on a rental.. they r not concerned about melo signing an extension.... butler+other from cuban
if we got him they would probably want us to take harringtons contract on for melo.. would you do it?

i think we have to at least offer gallo and AR and we need to if we plan to resign chandler to fit within the cap rules... and if they insist oon us taking harringtons contract.. would donnie consider????..we would have to add azzy +...
that said...

it will be hard for us to get a quality big and trade for melo this year...

we will have to wait till the offseason for one of the other.. maybe an ok big

id like gortat though... he is a good role player..and fits in...and affordable..

at like 6 - 7 mil per.. in a trade with suns.. if we cant trade for melo...maybe gallo and AR for him..

Varijo lite... and cheaper

I have not heard any discussions on teams even wanting Curry's expiring which may be an indication that teams are not interested in Curry despite that huge expiring. Lots of players (LaFrentz, Jerome James) just fade into the sunset and never get traded their last year, got a feeling this is what happens with Curry.
