wow....yall still discussin this?? melo and amare do not play the same game. We are supposed to be the most knowledgable fans in the world. What the **** yall *****s on? i dont think any nba anylist would compare melo to amare. They are both versitile scorers. and that is what we need. so many ways to score that its impossible to stop us. we see what happens when amare is off the floor eithe rin foul trouble or whatever....teams make their run. With melo, we never let up the pressure, never ease up....in a system like this, the most lethal weapon IMO is not the PnR, but the pull up jumper. Melo has the best pull up Jumper in the nba...amare also has a nice pull up jumper. Imagine melo coming down court, the defense on its heels, and WHAP, a wet J fom just inside the arc. everyone else is back on defense. WITH OUR CURRENT COACH, NOT GETTING MELO WILL BE A TRAGEDY, AND A MOVE REGRETTED BY THE KNICKS FOR YEARS AND YEARS TO COME.
