Are u askin if i believed him at the time? I dont think anybody could believe him now, he only had a few good games before his brother passed. Then he had a couple of more good games before getting injured (after Woodson started coaching). Then he had one good game in the playoffs, i honestly dont even think he had 10 good games all year.
Part of it was a miscalculation on his part, he thought the extra weight wouldnt effect his game. Im not sayin theres no chance he could come back next year and be a borderline all star, I just believe the risk is greater then the reward. I dont trust his knee's and his back. And even if he is healthy we still dont know what to expect from him. And we're only talking about offense here, we aint even talking about defense. Thats part of another problem i have with him, can we win a championship with him even if he is healthy?
Some knicks fans might just wanna be a tough playoff team and i have nothing against that, its better then where we came from. But i want a championship team
