2012-2013 Season Ticket Relocation & Pricing

Knicks are soon sending out the relocation assignments for next season's phase II renovated upper bowl.
In case you missed it, here's the new seating chart from the RANGERS:

The Knicks haven't released prices yet. I'm in 409 and looking to find out where I end up.
Some Rangers STH in 409 have ended up in the West Balcony.
Here's my best guess as to where prices will end up:

West Balcony: $75
400 Back Rows: $10
400 Middle Rows: $49
400 Front Row: $65
200 Corner/Ends Upper: $60
200 Corner/Ends Lower: $79
200 Corner/Ends Front Row: $135
200 Center Upper: $73
200 Center Lower: $93
200 Center Front Row: $160

Whatever you may think the prices end up at, it's not going to be cheap!

Well you have Dolan to thank for a $1B renovation, but no doubt Linsanity is going to give them cover to push prices even higher

Yeah they're changing everything in the upper bowl. Basically they're tearing down all the 300's and all the 400's except half a dozen sections on the 8th ave side and calling those the "blue seats" (note that the back 2 rows have obstructed views)

They're rebuilding the sideline sections steeper from mid arena to the roof:
- Row 1 will be a super premium seat
- Row 2 will be smaller premium seat
- Rows 3-14 is the new "300s" (now called the 200s)
- Rows 15-24 is the new "400s" (now also called the 200s)

The real fun starts in 2013-14 with those giant bridges that will block everyone's view of the Gardenvision
 
lol they now have to make more seats available and jack up the prices again to make room for all the NY asians....

I agree. those bridges need to be rethought or pretty much scrapped. i dont wanna look up toward the MSG iconic ceiling and see two bridges.

ROW 2: $82 (was $63)

Old 400 Center is now 200 Center Rows 15-24:
ROWS 15-24: $56 (was $45)

Old 400 Corner is now 200 Corner Rows 15-24:
ROWS 15-24: $45 (was $35)

Old 400 Ends is stil 400-Level Rows 1-7:

apparently no more $10 seats

ouch.. That's a pretty penny. I put down a deposit a couple of weeks ago to be on the wait list. I wonder what the renewal rate will be. If it is 95 percent. There will only be 200 seats opening up. I highly doubt I'll make it. The liberty season tickets to get on VIP list looks good right now.

gecko any idea on how big the k list is?

No idea on the waiting list. But the 200 level (old 300&400) will be the most in demand. If anything opens up for waitlist members it'll be in the higher price points
 
What is the Gallery section equivalent to? old 200 Section or is the old center 200 section now one of the Club sections?

It's not really a section, it's what they're calling the 1st row of the new 200's. That row has a lot of leg room and flat panel TVs at your feet. It's equivalent to row 1 of the 300s now, except now you have to pay $150 for center and $125 for corners & ends
 
150 a pop. i wonder how the reselling market will be for next year. theres only so much people will pay for knicks tickets. On another note. The bucks picked up Ellis from GSW. Knicks won't make the playoffs.
 
I personally do not like the first row of the current 300 section. The view of the court is obstructed with all the people walking by. Yes, there is more legroom, but it's not worth the additional cost.

So, what is the equivalent in the new seating arrangement of the current 200 section? Anyone know this? Reason I ask, is because I put in a request for the current 200 section middle and want to know what the new cost will be.

The new row one overhangs new lower level suites. Nobody can walk in front of you, there's no comparison. The new 300 center are now called sections 223, 224, 225 (TV side view) and 210, 211, 212 (opposite side). The full season ticket prices are now:

ROW 1: $150 (was $83)
ROW 2: $110 (was $83)
ROWS 3-14: $95 (was $83)
