Great tweet from Stephen A. Smith about Knicks taking Kevin Knox:

I knew Porter would slide if the Bulls didn?t save him but I don?t think Knox is any more talented than Hutchison or Alexander and you had several teams below heavily rumored to be interested in players picked after him

I?m upset we can never manage to maximize an asset...should?ve traded down

It?s all good in the sense we?re gonna be back in the draft again next yr but what?s going to suck is we?re more than likely searching for a wing and a point guard. I don?t see anything that jumps out at me in Knox, nothing

Miles Bridges gets picked by Clippers but sounds like he is headed to Charlotte. Porter continues to slide. We would likely have looked like idiots taking Porter at #9.

I seriously hate this franchise with all that I have sometimes...Maf we both saw this a mile away...we should?ve taken him on the fact Raptors wanted him and he was talked about going high to the Cavs.

Maybe next yr we won?t jack our fortunes up by winning too many games and finish high enough to eliminate all the guess work
 
Also proves why winning meaningless games in March hurts you... instead of Bamba or Doncic we end up with Knox.

Our front office stinks. The next savvy move that Perry or Mills make at another team?s expense will be their first.
 
Not surprised by the Hawks trading back mentioned their target was Trae...

Thought Mavs would take Bamba but knew they could possibly trade up given the opportunity. Outstanding draft thus far by their two teams...heck DS can slide to the two if need be if Hawks can?t move him

Trae ended up being a Top 5 pick and I believe his talent suggested he should?ve been
 
I was off on Carter and once again thought Mavs would?ve locked in on Bamba but other than that Draft has gone somewhat as expected

We did discuss at length there would be some trades tonight, in particular a team below us wanting to trade up to get a guy they want. We simply didn?t do our homework

I wonder who we were truly targeting if trade went down with Gtizzlies
 
DEN was smart... as soon as NY passed on him for another lottery ticket, it pretty much guaranteed that Porter will win 5 NBA titles.

I can pretty much hear me bitching in 10 years how we were this close to drafting Mitchell-Porter, 2 HOF players... while Knits and Knox will be winning titles in Russia.
 
I think Denver is a terrible fit for Porter. This is the team that buried Kenneth Faried?s career because of what I interpret as ?personality issues?.
 
Wow. Suns take Zhaire Smith at 16 and trade him to Philly for Mikal Bridges. That?s cold man. Dude?s mother works for Philly. Stone cold.
 
Wow, Mikhal dealt to PHO. So much for mom-son combo. I don?t feel as bad now taking Knox over Bridges. Philly got a first and Smith...

Wait... shouldn?t we have drafted Mikhal and dealt him for 16 and a future pick? Again, this is why our org sucks.
 
How many other teams do I think Perry and Mills had real talks with regarding trade down scenarios? Zero point zero.
