2018 NBA Playoffs

If I told you Harden/Paul shot a combined 11/40 and Harden was 0-11 from 3, you would think no way could they win this game. Rox with another clutch defensive performance and with clutch 4th qtrs by Gordon and Paul. Rox 1 game from the NBA finals, Harden is due, he hasn't made a 3 pt shot in 6 qtrs but Paul left the game late with a hammy. Look for some news on Paul 's injury for game 6.
Paul out for game 6 with a strained hammy. Harden goes back to being the primary ball handler, Gordon replaces Paul in the starting line-up, JJ has not been a factor, I wonder if D'antoni would go back to his old war horse? The thinking is M'bah Moute is going to get minutes.

Cavs take game 6 109-99. LeBron goes for 46 but the most impressive thing to me is Nance rolls over his leg and he goes down in pain holding his leg, thought he was coming out for sure but he gets up and shakes it off and doesn't miss a minute. KLove on the other hand collides with Tatum and leaves the game with a head injury and does not return. LeBron plays 46 minutes and gives them a chance in BOS though he'll probably have to do without KLove who will be under concussion protocol.

KLove out for game 7. LeBron has to be extra special at TD Garden SUN, LeBron was also limping after Fridays game after getting his leg rolled over so he may not be 100%. Have to give the Celts the nod, they have a better chance of shutting down the Cavs FC of TT and Green w/o Love in the game to stretch the floor.

Didn't realize the Cavs have been way better w/o Love then with him, I wonder why Lue sticks with him? Still Stevens game plan should be a lot simpler w/o him in the line-up, he can actually give Monroe minutes w/o Love in the lineup.

The Cavaliers have played some of their best basketball this series when Love is off the court. Cleveland is minus-20 in point differential with Love in the game but plus-18 when he's off. In fact, the team's offensive efficiency spikes 11.8 points per 100 possessions without Love.
Celtics coach Brad Stevens noted how well the Cavaliers played without Love in Game 6 and said his team will prepare for how Cleveland looks different without him.

Harden now 4 for his 32 from downtown. A playoff bum, always has been... always will be. I would bet the house he comes up small again in Game 7.

Harden now has five career playoff games with at least nine turnovers, giving him the most such games ever (LeBron James has three).

Choke artist KD surfacing again. Just like when he blew a 3-1 lead to GSW. He can?t do much of anything except ISO and now we see his true colors when tested.

Man, Kobe and Shaq would feast on these bums. The whole lot of them.

Same old story with Chris Paul as well, how many times has he missed games with an injury esp a hammy. Rox had an advantage with Iggy being out but if CP3 isn't back for game 7 I don't think they have a chance. Too bad, you take 10 years to build a team to win a championship and it's decided by an injury to a key player.

Largest lead of the game 56-51 Cavs but 2 consecutive plays by LeBron show why he's the greatest. Drives the basket and spins into the lane and alley oops the ball to TT for an easy dunk. Very hard to alley oop coming out of a spin. Rozier steals the ball and goes for the dunk on the breakaway but LeBron rises up to blocks his shot. Just not a scorer but can change the game in so many ways.

Cavs up 59-56 3rd. If Korver can get hot and drop some 3s the Cavs can win this going away, Cavs only shooting 21% from 3, Celts 16%. If they lose Stevens is going to lament that poor 3 pt shooting.

Rozier 0-9 from 3 after Morris missed a 3 off an OR of his FT miss. Big misses by the Celts, Celts shooting 18% now from 3, Cavs with a 7 pt lead with only 1:14 left. Cavs going back to the finals, took until the last game but Rozier came up small going 0-10 from 3, they missed Kyrie like everyone expected. The legend of Lebron, taking this team to the finals handing the Celts their first loss at home and breaking that 37-0 record of not losing a series after being up 2-0 in a series.

Altman made that trade to make the team better but I don't think it mattered, LeBron would have taken the IT Crowder Shump team to the finals. I don't see this group beating either the Rox or Warriors though but I would never bet against LeBron.

As much as i don't like the Celtics i would have preferred to see different teams into the final act. Tatum was incredible..
Oh well, we'll just have to see LeBron in the finals for the 8th consecutive year. Was there any other player in the history of NBA that came near that?

More impressed with the guy for playing all 48 minutes of game 7 after injuring his leg in game 6. He was asked in 2015 how many minutes he could play in a pressure packed NBA finals game and he said 41 or 42, that he could play 48 at regular season pace but it was impossible to play all 48 at playoff intensity, well he just pulled off the impossible. If we had him and KP was healthy, we could very well be playing in the NBA Finals.

This is getting old if we have another Warrior's/Cavs finals. I'm hoping CP3 can pull a Lebron and shake off that hammy for game 7 but I doubt it.

I think it?s hilarious that Lebron carries the Cavs to another Finals while both Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving are out injured.

Bill Russell won 11 titles in 13 years. Jerry West (Lakers), AKA ?the logo?, lost in Finals to Russell 7 times.

CP3 out for game 7. Iggy out for the Warriors. Rox short of star power for this game, don't see how they can beat that Warriors squad.

True, true;
however, given the fact that ~60 years ago there were just a handful of teams in the league and the first seed would play just a round before getting into the finals, not to take any credit away for what they did but it was way less difficult back in those days.

oh well, same finals again.. i wished at least one team would be different this year.

I posted the NBA would be thrilled with having a Warriors/Cavs finals because of the star power of Lebron Curry KD but I wanted a Rox/Celts finals like you. I doubt it's much of a series, Warriors in 6, Iggy is probably back for the finals.

HOU choked. They outplayed GSW in both Games 6 & 7, led by double digits at halftime, and they gave the game away.

Harden not nearly good enough. Dantoni?s idea of what offense should be fails again. 27 consecutive missed threes! HOU could score at will in the midrange, but choked game away chucking 28-foot prayers.

Tough when reality settles in for Harden and Dantoni...

5th straight season Lebron leads an underdog to the NBA Finals. On a side note, I really have no love left for Durant. He?ll get a 2nd ring soon and he?s a great player, but man how many more years of this do we get? Durant, Curry, Klay, and Green are all still under 30. Yeah, Houston might have had them without the Chris Paul injury, still, this finals is set up to be boring as dirt.
