Alec Burks is taking his talents to South Beach.

The 32-year-old guard, who went from being out of the Knicks’ rotation in the first round of the playoffs to becoming a huge weapon off the bench against the Pacers, is signing a one-year contract with the Heat in NBA free agency, ESPN reported Wednesday.

He was a surprise contributor for the Knicks in the second round of the playoffs after losing his spot in the rotation.

I wish he would have signed with a team in the west but all in all i wish him good luck with his new team. He was quite the surprise during the Pacers series despite struggling since his return to NY

I wasn’t a big Burks fan in the beginning. His play steady and good. Not super but a very dependable player. Wish him the best!!
