Ranting and raving, screaming and yelling has never solved anything. Contrary to what others may believe. Here's a view and breakdown for the more sensible of knicks fans. The ones like myself.with KnickFan4Realz
The New Knicks
Well sports fans the NYKnick's have been playing great basketball as of late. The team is currently on a 4 game winning streak for the first time this season. Jamal Crawford coming off the bench and getting comfortable has left him starting to revive memories past of ole number 8 in the Garden. The treacherous 3 of Robinson, Frye, and Lee has not only rejuvenated the Knicks but revitalized the franchise as well with much needed excitement and hope. Eddy Curry finally in great full health has been a presence in the middle for the Knicks on the cusp of what we havent seen in the Garden till the glory days of Patrick Ewing. The famous Knick defense has greatly improved under Larry Brown as well vover the last 4 games turnovers have decreased sharply. The team also over the last 6 games has had the consistent lineup of Curry,Davis,Lee,Marbury, and Robinson and given the Knicks form and consistency.
With the recent wins over Seattle, Phoenix, Washington, and Cleveland the Knicks are starting to play up to their talent level and are really begining to take shape and mesh. The New Knicks 4th quarters have been one reason for this excelllent turn around as well. Hanging in there playing tough and closing out games. Which would leave one to be optimistic about April and May perhaps maybe there is a playoff spot in there..? Playoffs?? Playoffs?? Yes I know but if this team keeps it up it could be the reincarnation of that 1999-2000 8th seed team that went to the Finals. This is New York City....anything is possible But perhaps the biggest reason for the New Knicks success has been the the play of Stephon Marbury. Over the last 4 games Marbury has averaged 23.3 pts, 48% FG shooting, 10.3 assts, and an amazing 2.2 turnovers. Indeed the steady play and leadership of Steph has the Knicks back on track and rolling in Gotham City. Looks like our "Starbury" is growing up and becoming the point guard we were all waiting to see. He's come along way since Coney Island and the boy from Brooklyn is now on the path to becoming the "best point guard in the NBA"....move over Steve Nash because Steph is coming for that number 1 spot.
