Ball handling skills doesn't automatically make you live at the Free Throw line, if that was true guys like Howard, Shaq and etc wouldn't be so good at getting to the free throw line.

Crawford shouldn't be very good really. He's not that athletic, he doesn't fully utilize his speed, he's not aggressive or alert, he lacks a lot of SKILLS besides ball handling. Honestly, what would Crawford be if God took away his ball handling ability(which isn't even that good because he palms, carries, travels and does a lot of negative things with the ball a lot, more than often). Crossover, Crawford is good, but ball handling he's not really GOOD, average. He's too wreckless/careless with the ball to be considered a good ball handler.
Crawford wouldn't be a spot up shooter either because he's a 33% 3pt shooter, which is like a C-D level shooter at the SG position.

His talent and hype always been overrated.

The King
Crawful doesn't have a strong durable enough body to be driving to the basket, hence why you rarely see him do it and when he does it's not pretty. I recall at least 6 occasions from 4 games where Jamal attempted to drive and turned the ball over, he's scared and we (as well as he) all know it by now.

He had 8 years to develop and separate himself from an average player to an elite and has failed, he will not change no matter how hard you dream about it happening.

Mike D' said himself he wasn't too sure about the traumatic situation going on in NY. He didn't even realize how good of a player Nate was until just recently. Nate is two times the player Jamal would like to be.

Looking back at the dismal preseason, inconsistency that is settling in, poor IQ, and predictability maybe Mike D' will realize how he is not even a start worthy.

To even consider him as the face of the Knicks is beyond disgrace, just like commentators had stated "You have to be careful sometimes with a player that can score in high numbers on a bad team" (a message for scouts) in this case this is right on, not always but for Crawful it's a living fact-
