2nd game of home at home vs Philly. RJ of to another good start a couple 2?a down already Knicks leading early in the first. Games on ESPN for all of us out of market Knick fans!

MRob has regressed back to his foul troubles. Again with 2 early fouls.

Thibs once again going with Sims behind MRob because the idea pushed by some fans that he doesn?t play the young guys continues to be completely untrue.

Randle with 12 points in the first 10 minutes.

Sims also picks up 2 1st quarter fouls. So, Thibs goes to Taj.

Watch all the Knicks fans who aren?t watching the game cry that Thibs is playing Taj instead of the young guys. Well, when your young guys are on pace to foul out in the 1st half, you don?t leave your head coach much choice.

Sims, Reddish, Toppin, and Quickley all getting 1st quarter minutes.

What does Thibs have to do, play Randle?s 5-year-old son before fans will stop complaining that Thibs doesn?t play the young guys?

Knicks lead by 7 at the half.

Randle and RJ combine for 35 1st half points on 13 for 27 shooting from the floor.

Not bad from two guys who are supposedly the two worst players on the team according to the Knicks internet fanbase. I hope Thibs benches the two of them in the 2nd half for a couple of children sitting courtside so that fans can be satisfied that he played the youngest possible guys.

In fact, for his entire career?. Wilt averaged over 45 mpg.

Dont sleep on MitchRob .. the two young defensive centers (MitchRob & Jarrett) in the East has been putting it on Embiid the last 3 seasons.

The Knicks entire 10 Man Rotation played winning basketball in the first half .. Randle & Barrett have to learn how to produce in the 2nd half of the game being the most minute played players !!!

Burks and Fournier?s inability to rotate to the open 3 point shooter on defense is something I see in my sleep at this point.

Thibs is being criticized for not being able to win when he has neither a true PG or a true defensive stopper on the roster to slow down players like Harden.

World Wide Wes wants that to be Thibs? fault when Thibs was desperate for our front office to make a move both last year and this year at the trade deadline?

Quickley dribbles for 22 seconds without being able to penetrate before dumping the ball off at the perimeter and it leads to a shot clock violation.

On the other end, Maxey blows by him.

Thibs isn?t playing Quickley over Burks because Quickley isn?t a better PG than Burks playing out of position. Period.

The front office knew Thibs had no PG before the trade deadline and couldn?t get us even a bottom tier option.

Fournier 1 for 8 from the floor. Brutal.

Down the other end, Fournier gives Maxey about an 8 foot cushion and he drains the open 3.

We trail by 10.

Quickley with no shot clock awareness again overdribbling into another turnover , but if Thibs yanks him for Burks, fans will cry ?why isn?t he playing the young guys?!??.
