Wilson Chandler will posterize Michael Beasley

Knicks will win 121-110

Randolph and Chalmers will go smoke a bowl afterwards.

Curry and James will go to IHOP and have an early breakfast.

Isiah Thomas wont see anything 'cause he'll be sleeping from 6pm to 10am.

Meanwhile, James Dolan will be trying out his new Guitar Hero: World Tour

I just feel Duhon will limit the team with his limitations just like he did with the Bulls.

GetRealstic, you don't even know what a "true" PG is. Some of the best PG's in the NBA aren't like Duhon.

Duhon is just a defensive specialist, his offensive skills and confidence are handicapped.

Props on the opening night game thread for sure!!! I get the League Pass free for one week so I will be in front of my set with bells on watching Knicks/Heat!!! That's an old school rivalry game to open the season for sure. Good Lucks Knicks!!!

Chris Duhon has no skills. He's no pure point guard. Maybe a pure piece of s#!t, but not a pure point guard.
Quentin Richardson is no placeholder. He's a 4th tier fatass that needs to be waived.

Stephon Marbury and Wilson Chandler need to start.

The Knicks are going to finish with a franchise low 22 wins, if Chris Duhon and Quentin Richardson remain our starters.

Delusional. Do you want the Knicks to win games or to hear Steph's name called during introductions. Wilson Chandler is going to be the starter and we all know that. Maybe not tonight for the reasons i've said a million times also now hes hurt but he will be the starter.

And if Duhon is as bad as you say he is (which he isn't) D'Antoni will bench him for Nate Robinson so just chill with all your comments until this group of starters plays one meaningful game.

The starting lineup on October 29th won't be the starting lineup on November 29th and it surely won't be the starting lineup on Feb 29th.

And Metro everybody complains about how we have no defenders on this team and as you said yourself Duhon is a defensive specialist why wouldn't you want him out on the floor to start the game. Scoring points isn't going to be a problem with this team stopping people is going to be.

Duhon is showing to have some skill if you put trust in him to play big minutes. He is a floor general, finds the open man usually with the hot hand, which for some reason the Knicks would never do last year. I remeber when a player would be shooting good and the Knick players would stop passing to him, Duhon knows the game better than I expected.

And good point, we win with defense, we have enough scorers in Marbury, Crawford, Chandler, Nate, and Randolph....even Roberson is known only for his shot.

We need a defensive specialist on the court, command the floor, feed the open man with a pass first mentality, and he can score decently, don't be fooled. It's all confidence with Duhon.

Duhon has started in every pre season game...odds are he will start at PG tonight...if not the first game then very soon. We need defense.

what does smh mean? a few peope use it a lot on this site. Is that like geek lingo or something? Or is it legit slang kids r using in the streets now?
 
Take it with a grain of salt because it was reported by Berman. But Gallinari is supposed to get a few minutes of playing time tonight.

Seems like a PR move to help show the fans the 6th pick wasn't wasted but i'm not sure if i'd throw a 19 year old out there unless it was a blow out. The kid hasn't played since July why rush things.

I like the idea of playin gallinari. I think we need to get him out there as quick as possible if we wanna look respectabe with D'antonis system. We have no shooters...nate robinson is probably our best shooter. And if it takes away from q richardsons playin time, im all for it. Q-rich and crawford are 2 cancers that need to be removed from our starting lineup. In my opinion they should be removed from the team, we would be better without them.

i expect nate to hit at least 5 treys. Knicks win 111-105.
Chandler needs to start over q-rich, steph at SG and nate at PG.
Lets the season begin!

MSG - Awesome pre-game thread, great job. Hope the Knicks prove worthy of the effort. That Heat lineup looks small but athletic, I hear that Beasley is a beast, Knicks don't have a gimme here.

I also saw that from a Newsday reporter, so there's probably some truth to it. I think it's a good move, he needs to get some playing time soon, so why wait.
