Yeah, I was fine with Melo sitting and seeing what these guys got, but it's time to put him in after these plays (minus Williams missing the lay-up, that's not normal for him).Lin steals it from Sasha... DW misses a layup... Melo still on the bench.
19-31 from FT line now
Yeah, we NEED this. A loss will put them back two games under .500.Fish looks like he's given up not putting Rolo and Melo back in. There's enough time and its close enough not to give up.
Apparently Fisher thinks they're the number one seed.Weird first 6 plus minutes of the 4th quarter. We are doing nothing special and still playing sloppy, but we've manage to get the lead all the way down from 21 to 10. On top of that, Fisher looks like he has partially given up as if this game is over as Melo and Robin Lopez stay glued to the bench. We're down 10 with over 5 minutes to play.
Green light by Fisher, he's a players coach but maybe the Knicks would be better off with someone like Clifford, someone who would bench you if you screw up.KP has been shooting WAY too many long shots the last two games.
It's also weird that KP is even taking this many shots, it doesn't seem to be his style to jack shots up like that unless he's hot. The Knicks need to get their ball movement back again, otherwise be prepared for these kind of games again. Hopefully this pathetic game sparks another run like the loss to the Bulls did, except THIS kind of loss doesn't happen again.Green light by Fisher, he's a players coach but maybe the Knicks would be better off with someone like Clifford, someone who would bench you if you screw up.

I don't expect this team to play good/great all the time right now, and what you posted are understandable reasons why they haven't played as well. They're still a fresh squad, and only turned things around THIS MONTH, but yeah, tonight's game was disappointing any way you spin it. They weren't just missing shots, that happens to the best teams, I was disappointed in their all around play.Good point in post game... This was 4th game in 6 days. Week started with them getting home late from MeMphis... Played last night and travelled (dealt with snow nonsense)...
What Pops called a schedule loss, espexily when Melo left with an injury and we played 3 OTs this week.
Not an excuse, and I expect a loss in Tuesday... But I do think we enter ASB at .500 or a game above it.
Still, how did CHA win by double digits when they shot 36%?
Like JVG said... Easiest thing to do is to go from bad to .500... Harder to go from a .500 team to a "winning" team... Then even harder to go from that to a title worthy team.
