Porzingis with the sky hook! There should be a rule if both PORZ and Melo pass on consecutive touches we get a point. Too bad LT missed it.
 
How do you inbound the ball with .09 left in shot clock... To KOQ...
Who holds ball cluelessly as buzzer sounds. Wow.
 
NYK win both the 2nd and 3rd quarters... Down 4 heading into 4th... Let's hope we can play well down the stretch and win this 50/50 game that's there for the taking.
 
I thought we played a lot better than to only go from a 6 pt hole at the half to a 4 pt one after 3. Lack of D intensity I think was the reason.
 
Williams steps out of bounds, bricks a 3, nearly throws (bad) pass away to LG in the paint, then misses a layup... Doesn't look good for a repeat of last game's heroics.

Yeah... Probably cost us the game. Second unit inept and lead balloons to 9 just like that after a couple missed layups and lots of standing and watching for help on defense.
 
Affalo has 4 points and 0 assist. Galloway has 3 points and 1 assist. Knicks basically playing with 1 guard tonight. Terrible.
 
Not gonna be our night... We've missed 4 layups to start the 4th... Refs decided to start blowing the whistle in the 4th after not doing so first 3 quarters... Down 10.
 
Mirotic flopping left and right now. Butler given 5 steps to stop and attempt a jumper... Melo with good work on off glass... LT makes a miraculous layup.

I have no clue why Fisher has PORZ in this game to finish? But with 6 left... Game is over.

At least it won't come down to NYK missing shots down the stretch... We just couldn't raise our energy to match CHI, who obviously wanted this victory more than us.

But... Again... You can't win in the NBA when you get nada from your guards. We got something from JC... But Affalo and LG were so bad... We had very little chance to win (unless Melo and PORZ scored 30 apiece).

Affalo let Butler score 30.... And he gave us nothing in offense. Terrible.

He certainly took advantage of his opportunity when Noah went down. But playing well for a few weeks doesn't mean he is ROY... PORZ is 6th in NBA in blocks and 15th in double-doubles.

Starting between ROLO and Melo for NYK or being a sub for CHi puts a player in a different role...

Looks like CHI got another bargain player in the draft... Sort of like Taj Gibson.

It was obvious NYK would've been extremely lucky to go 3-7 in this 10 game stretch... You hoped we could beat DET or win that first game... Take 1/3 vs ATL... But we weren't winning much else (especially with 7 on the road during the Holidays)... Not surprised at all...

Let's see how they respond after this 1-9 or 2-8 stretch... Do they take care of biz for a stretch before they run into their next rough patch?
