I guess James can throw and elbow when he drives... Calderon was called for the same thing... And Melo is always called for the hook.

Galloway seals deal with a terrible drive to the hoop...

It is really amazing we even compete with these lousy guards... Not only do the force and miss Ill-advised shots... They never get an assist. People conain about ISO Melo? Geez, Affalo and Galloway are worse... At least Melo gets some assists...

KO can get an assist in the 4th... But the dude who was 0-6 in the first half misses 6 shots in the 4th... (AA was 4-10 in the 4th with 2 turnovers)... AA Never passed ball to KP. Affalo should be ashamed of his game tonight.

Just like against Orlando, critical turnovers and the inability to close it out at the end. That's 0-2:going into a back to back this w/e. Zero pts and no shots for kp in the 4th wtf.

Bad coaching and selfish play from Affalo. KP had 23 points thru 3 quarters... Yet ice cold AA **** ten times down the stretch? Did he even hit rim on half those shots?

Seriously, what NBA team can win with Calderon-Affalo-Galloway-grant as their top 4 guards? This group is beyond inept. They can't score, play defense, nor do they create easy shots for others... Kind of what guards are supposed to do... You know... Run an offense.

Somebody should tell Affalo to stop shooting 3s... I would prefer KP take hook shots from half court over AA shooting from downtown.

Affalo, Galloway, grant were 9-28 with 4 assists... KP himself had 4assists. Langston played 25 minutes and had 4 points and 0 assists.
 
They made a game of it w/o Melo and Quinn. I'm hoping they're back by Saturday and the Knicks can put it all together for a couple of wins. The next 2 are critical, need 2 wins to get back to .500.

PJ needs to pull the trigger on an up tempo PG. Grant has been disappointing, I'd make him trade bait if it can snag Jennings.

NYK will not be at .500 again until next Nov when season begins and we are 0-0...

We dropped the first 2 games of a brutal 10 game stretch. We'll be lucky to go 2-8 in this stretch... Which puts us at 16-23 when this run is complete.

16-23 you can bet PJ and Mills will deal for some help. Maybe Jimmer which is the easiest move he can make.

It's just that the EC is better this year. I doubt we win in BOS or MIA. ATL will win 2/3, if not all 3. We might beat DET... But will lose in SA...

We will beat up the bad teams... Probably get us 32-38 wins... But unless we make a trade for an impact G... No way we can beat the good teams with this guard group. ISO-Affalo was horrific tonight. 10 shots the final 8 minutes from AA? Trying to post up Shump, who abused him?

At least we competed and were in the game. KP was excellent.

Or how about force Fisher to put Grant in a better position to succeed instead of randomly inserting him into horrific lineups. Otherwise what you're saying is Phil made a horrible choice in drafting him if you want him traded after 25gms played into his fresh career. Should have started him, he'd be past several bumps in the road by now.

I thought he was a better shooter than he's shown esp being a 4 year college player. He's never going to be better than the pre-draft backup PG prediction they made for him. Maybe not even as good as THJ who so far has been better his rookie season. I'd sell high on him and use him as trade bait if it could get us an up tempo PG like Jennings.
 
KP not getting shots in the 4th quarter was frustrating. I don't know what the result of the game would have been, but why wouldn't you have rolled with him? Even if he was struggling, he's hard to guard with his height and ability, and it wouldn't have mixed things up. Also, he wasn't struggling.

The Knicks need to sign Allen Iverson.
 
Stupidest coach in the NBA. Makes D'antoni look like Gregg Popovich. Only a complete idiot would stop running his offense in crunch time through the players that helped the team to be in a position to win. Herb Williams would have done a better job in that 4th quarter. Please fire this guy before he wastes KP's prime by being the dumbest coach NY sports has ever seen.
