Merry Christmas KO & Rady, thanks for the Game-Thread of the ex-Knicks players vs the Knicks.
Playing against Fournier? Or final contract Reddish? Or D,Rose leadership & scoring?
I hope the Knicks coach & players recall the previous game early this month against the Mavs at MSG.
The Mavs embarrassed us real real bad in the final 3 quarters of the Dec. 3rd game beating us 121-100 .... Pay Back Time

Knicks looking good in first half .. Quickley given out 11 Dimes, Randle's 16 pts, 10 rbs, and 4-8 from 3's. Grimes 15 pts, and 6th-Man McBride outstanding performance that doesn't show up in stats ....
We keep up this performance in the 2nd half we got a win.
Coach Kidd will have a different strategy in the 2nd half however, Kidd & Docic did not expect the Knicks trio backcourt of McBride/Quickley/Grimes dynamics together.

Lol. Up 9 with 30 seconds and they lose. Lol. QG with a turnover, IQ stupid foul, McBride miss FT, they allow Doncic to rebound his missed FT and score. That was a special collapse… happens once a decade for most teams… a few times a season for Knicks.
This is the loss that breaks this season. Good stuff moving forward, but what does that mean anyway? Stuck in NBA 37 win purgatory unless NBA rigs a draft to gift Knicks a legit star.

Many questionable calls tonight
46 minutes for McBride
51 minutes for Quick
45 minutes for Randle
48 minutes for Grimes
Thibs played a 8 man rotation in a OT game ....
That is insane! I know we are short handed, but that’s ridiculous
When the average NBA player plays above 32 minutes their FT shooting becomes 50-50 (the Knicks roster prove that a fact in so many games).
The Big Problem with that is the same players shooting 50-50 from FT are also the player hoisting up 3 ball shots after playing 35 minutes of playing time .. A loss is a loss .. Coach Kidd out smarted/and out coached Thibs for the win tonight.
As I said, can’t trust this team AT ALL. Again we’re playing better but we kind of freestyle too much and any team patient enough to execute can get whatever they want on us
Mavs missed a ton of wide open 3s tonight
Can’t fault McBride too much he made like 5-6 free throws all in the clutch although the miss hurt. Had he made it we know the Mavs somehow, some way would’ve got a 3 out of it
We had too many possessions in the 4th qrt that were dead, couldn’t get Randle the ball on several of them and when we did not early enough
Luka was “other worldly”…wish we would’ve lost more the yr he was available but we won 5 too many games
