Wsup Rady .. Thanks for the Game Thread, we got two games this week before All-Star week-end rest.
We are in Houston Texas tonight looking for a win from a Rockets team that's on a 4 game losing streak.
Both our backup centers (IHart/Sims) are day to day for tonight game.
We been putting lot's of pressure on Precious Achuwa to be our only frontcourt player in the rotation.
Back in the NBA daze of Ewing/Oakley, the Rockets Olyjuwon/Horry/Drexler would beat our Knicks by 60/70 points only having Precious Achuwa in the frontcourt.

Half Time .. Knicks 43 - Rocs 57
The Rocks grabbed a 15 point lead early in the 2nd and pulled all their tricks out to hold the 15 pt lead.
Brunson shooting 2-11 from FG in first half
Divo 16 pts are the only double digit scorer on Knicks.

The Rockets have 4 players with double digit scoring in first half

NBA gamblers rigged this one. 33 FT attempts for HOU… 12 for Knicks. Game poised to go OT… tied game… refs call a shooting foul .3 seconds left. You’ll watch another 20,000 games and you won’t see a ref call that foul again. A loose ball scramble, grab, and 35-ft chuck shot as time expires… MVB caliber Brunson with a textbook deny. Ref blows whistle to end game. Lol

‪Did I mention that HOU shooter is throwing ball at rim with one hand and pushing off with the other. And they call a shooting foul. Lol.‬

33-12 FT disparity. Knicks scored 58 in paint. Were in middle all game. How only 12 FT attempts?

Dylan Brooks got away with murder tonight on Brunson. Incredible how Jalen gets no respect. Halliburton would’ve been awarded 22 FTs tonight.

First half ended with a call overturned…. dDV fouled on a 3 as time expired but overturned bc deemed he kicked leg out. Game then ends when HoU awarded 3 shots. Replay clearly shows Holiday kicked leg out

What Happen ???
The final minutes of the game was close, and in the final seconds I was watching a over-time game coming up after Brunson clutch shot tied the game @ 103, having 8 seconds remaining in game ....
We had no Hartenstein or Mitch tonight defending the paint and grabbing lot's of offensive rebounds to give our Precious Achuwa 17 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 50% FG shooting any help in the frontcourt.
Josh Hart's hustle did his best, putting us back in the game.
Never using Sims in our practice session for 3 seasons should be a 25% cut in the coaching staff pay check.
And Shh .. Bog & Burks together don't add up to half of Grimes defensive-effort.

Crew chief Malloy admits to Katz that they made wrong call at end. Wasn’t a foul. That was obvious. NBA didn’t even wait for 2-minute report to admit they fixed another game.

DiVincenzo had played 41 of a possible 43 minutes at the time he asked out of the game because of the hamstring injury.

That was a heartbreaking game ending. Tough call for the referee and he didn't get it right. Guys are playing heavy minutes, cept for Sims, all starters logged 39 or more. Another bunch of guys are injured. They all need this rest. One more to go..

The New York Knicks filed a protest with the NBA to dispute the 105-103 loss to the Houston Rockets on Monday night, sources told ESPN.

The Knicks and Rockets aren't scheduled to play again this season, but the hope of the protest is to either pick up a tie game with the start of overtime, or somehow remedy the Knicks without a loss.

Nevertheless, a protest must prove the "misapplication" of a rule, not simply a missed call.

Only six protests in league history have been upheld. The NBA has not often upheld protests in its history -- only six times, according to ESPN Stats & Information research.

The last time came Dec. 19, 2007, when Miami Heat center Shaquille O'Neal was incorrectly ruled to have six fouls when he had only five. The game was resumed March 8, 2008, but neither team scored in the 51.9 seconds that was replayed from overtime and the Hawks won 114-111. Before the game was resumed, O'Neal had been traded to the Phoenix Suns.

Wondering if the prostest filed by the Knicks has any chances of changing anything. I doubt the teams will meet again to play an OT period (or as many as it takes) since they don't have games against one another this season and i have no clue how can they not be penalized with a loss.
