Usually, I catch these late night games .. the cold weather put me to sleep early.
The end of a Back to Back .. the Games Thibs are 1-9
The Box-Score showed the No Defense Knicks showed up tonite .. 22 point Loss.
The Four-Guard lineup (No PF) LA Clippers outscored the Knicks in all 4 quarters of the game tonite.
The Clippers was very close to shooting 60% from FG, 50% from 3's, and 85% from FT.
All our Knicks players performed like they wanted to get traded to the next team ..
What do you do having 8 minutes remaining in the game, and your down 104-125 ????
It look like we did nothing, but share scoring the remaining 8 minutes of the game 122-144 !!!!

Think about the last game and 50 pt. from JB and good performance from Randle and DD.
How many times will that happen on a given night?? Well, JB isn’t going to score 50 and even if he does who’s being left out of the offense?
This isn’t a good team at best average. When you play good teams you have to depend on someone playing over their head to get a win.
The construction of this team is very flawed as far as a balance scoring attack. Scoring isn’t balanced because minutes aren’t distributed equally to those that are playing good that night. Front office trying to make sure there players are playing good minutes to prove they know something about BB. Competition is part of the equation.

Why are Quickley & Grimes (playing time) minutes decreasing each game since Grimes joined the 2nd unit bench lineup?
Last night game vs Clippers our Knicks top defensive players Hart, Quickley, Grimes, Donte, and Hartenstein should've been prepared to play 28 or more minutes at the end of a back to back vs the Clippers.
Quickley 19 minutes
Donte 22 minutes
Grimes 24 minutes
I may have missed the Clippers game, but Josh Hart 2nd tech kicked him out the game after playing 8 minutes.
Why wasn't Quickley & Grimes & Donte (Defensive performance) givin 30 or more minutes vs NBA top scorers Harden, PG, Kawhi, and Westbrook?

Both Suns & Clippers are WEAK defensive teams, but when all their top scoring players are healthy their opponents have to try and outscore them 3 quarters of the game for a win.
Remember Beal got hurt after 5 min into the game, but scored 6 pts, and 1 assist for the Suns.
