Randle need to provide Picks, Screens, and box-out for his teammates.
It wouldn't hurt if Randle added some effort to his poor defensive performance.
In our previous games Knicks opponents big men all shot above 50% FG on Randle as a defender .. Giannis, Bam, Tucker, Love, Kat, and rookie Mobley.
Thibs coaching & Randle leadership has the Knicks team in a 1-6 rut in their past 7 games !!!

100% correct about "what he is supposed to do". Watch the same thing and said what is Thib's doing game after game. Team are simply taking away the Knicks spark and best player and say, 'Somebody else beat me but it ain't Randle'.

Kiya, Randle is a 6'8" PF that is undersize in most cases. Last year Randle wasn't running into double teams until the playoff and showed all of the Knicks weakness. As you know there isn't a D. Rose to help in that area. Which again shows the weakness of this team.

Randle is a product of a bad offense scheme and a bad coach. It works as long as other teams are tanking and not trying to make the playoff. That is what most miss about last year is what other team were patiently waiting for.... the draft.
