Well, Melo did just brick two free throws with a 4 point lead and a little over 30 seconds to go.
32 mins 6 bds. hardly a beast. His D has been good but he should give you something for 14M a year.
He is a good FT shooter though.
He's having a good game. Our team has turned the ball over 20 times tonight, give or take, and he's only responsible for a small fraction of them. Plus, he just grabbed that defensive rebound and iced two free throws for the 6 point lead. That's why they call him Mr. Clutch.
They do??? Got the win despite another lackluster finish. I don't know how you improve how a team finishes but the Knicks need to find a way.
That was a joke. I can say with a 100% certainty that no one has ever called Robin Lopez 'Mr. Clutch'.

Knicks are 6-2 in close games... How? Who knows. Some good, some bad from everyone. They gotta figure out how to score when the starters get back in the game in the fourth quarter... Brutal again.
Refs allow so much contact on Melo it's really comical. Same elbow Roberson applied to Melo was a flagrant on Affalo... OKC walked all night, but only the traveling violations on NYK were called.
Rolo almost throws game away but Calderon has to sell the foul... Ibaka was all over him.

Lopez is a clutz ....he was pushed around and had 5 tip ins over him. He sucks. It was an ugly win but I will take it. Lopez took us to 91- 85 on two free throws.
We need to get a real center who passes the ball unlike LOPEZ handing it off. It's something you see in third graders.
At 91-85 with 24 seconds left WESTBROOK brings OKC to within 4 points. Anthony hits two free throws and its a 6 point lead with 13 seconds when WESTBROOK hits an unbelievable 3 to bring it to 93-90 with 11.8 seconds left. Westbrook threw up a brick from deep and OKC rebounded. Waiters missed a 3 that was half way down. KNICKS WIN.....The KNICKS WIN

Like Mafra said I don't know how they're winning these close games finishing down the stretch like they are but last years team would have lost every one of these games even with 10 pt leads with 3 minutes left. Too early to say how good the Knicks are but good teams find a way to win like the Knicks are doing.
Lopez would be a weapon if we tandem Quinn, or Serafin, or Amundson in the lineup with Lopez.
The only bigman help we give Lopez in a lineup is KP, and KP does not have the experience to be in a crunch-time lineup. Fisher is putting to much pressure on Lopez expecting him to screen for teammates then rebound, score, and protect the paint all by himself in crunch-time, not happening. When Fisher put a lineup of Lopez & Quinn protecting the paint, rebounding, scoring, and screening for teammates thats when we will have the perfect BIGS for our crunch-time lineup.
To expect Lopez to out-rebound over Ibaka & Adams or Kanter & Collison, lead to us getting 36 rebounds vs OKC grabbing 49 rebounds n 21 offensive-rebounds for 2nd-chance shots to score 52 points inside the paint compared to our 16 points in the paint .. Fisher? Fisher? Fisher?
Fisher put our starters on the court the final 7 minutes of the OKC game with a 82-66 Knicks lead, our starters first 2 points came when it was 4 minutes left in the game. OKC scored 24 points in 7 minutes on our starters .. our closing lineup need help!
I give this WIN to our 12-Man rotation giving us great-team-hustle shooting 45% FG and 60% 3-ball for a big road Knicks WIN over OKC !!!!!!
I thought D.J. Augustin would have improve his skills when he sign with OKC .... Waiters look to be OKC team weakness.

Last year we were tanking, and it should be taken into consideration when drawing any kind of then-now comparison. When it comes down to the OKC game, it felt like the old Knicks, blowing up the lead in the last quarter. As a fan, it makes me worried, as a viewer it definitely adds some drama to a game that seemed to be over at halftime.
