Game Thread: New York Knicks @ Orlando Magic 7:00 pm 3/6/2017 [Game#64]

Rose has had some nice moments playing off the ball with teammates finding him cutting to the hoop. He has been terrible running the point though
 
10 first half points for Porzingis on 4 for 7 shooting. Not the big half people would expect with Melo out, but he has been efficient
 
Beautiful pick and roll with Rose finding WHG for the easy 2 to end the half. We trail by 3 at halftime

You can say that, but he was brutal in the half overall. He had the worst plus/minus on the team for the half with -14. He made 2 bad turnovers and shot 2 for 8 from the floor. We were better with Randle than him in the 1st half.
 
There really is nothing to prove by making the playoffs, we all are waiting for melo to retire or go to another franchise.

Melo had opportunities to change, but he won't ..NTC

BTW I keep Derrick Rose, for a reasonable contract, every team has a strong penetrating PG on their roster and Rose is our guy.

I wonder if Rose is trying too hard this season to get back into form. He may not be a great passer, but he's had a few excellent assist averages in Chicago. I just looked and he averaged 23/9/9 in the 2012 Playoffs. I'm biased, but for the right price he's definitely worth bringing back.
 
I hate hearing the name "Fornier". Every time I do I think of the Knicks letting non-stars have season and career highs.
 
Just realized no minutes for O'Quinn in the 1st half. Never can understand how he periodically ends up out of the rotation

I want to see that 16-20 from beyond the arc he did in Westchester. He lacks size and doesn't look like the most athletic PG out there.
 
Players should start playing with Payton's hair as defense. Knowing the Knicks though if they did that his hair would spike up, turn into a super saiyan, and would get a career high.
