Game Thread: New York Knicks vs Atlanta Hawks 1:00 pm 1/16/2017 [Game#42]

Noah's missed tip was the shot that I thought had a better chance to go in. Melo had a good all around game, even had a critical steal from Milsap late in the game. Today if any of the guys like Jennings, Noah could have made one play or DRose getting a block on Schroeders game winner the Knicks could have pulled this one out. Melo did the work today.

Later for Noah miss tip .. our two $$ stars had the chance to pull the win ..
The Hawks played sloppy ball all game long .. the Knicks really needed the 1pm win in Atlanta.
Throughout the game we had to much Melo n Rose in the lineup to get a win .. both Rose n Melo had the opportunity in the closing seconds to make this game a Knicks win SMH

Coach Jeff Horn is not gonna make the Knicks a winning team giving ISO-Melo n ISO-Rose above 30 minutes a night ..
Rose n Melo had a good offensive game but their poor defense helped the Hawks Schroder score 28 pts on 80% fg shooting and ex-Knicks Hardaway score 20 pts on 60% fg shooting

How could you say Melo done work?yes he scored 30 but he gave up about 45 points or more with his sorry defense.Melo isn't going to change and as long as he stays a Knick The Knicks won't change either. We will keep losing!!!!

I've been frustrated with them lately, but the ending of this game, foul or not, made me curse in anger at them. Sick of this.

NBA ruled it WASN'T a foul in the 2 minute report. Correct No Call according to them.

We're they referring to the arm swipe down on the head, from the player behind Rose,
or the contact of the player in front, who jumped up and into Rose as he was attempting a layup?

Too bad they didn't comment on all 7 offensive fouls on NY, especially the one called on DR with 2:20 left.

As for the last play, I'm fine with letting the players decide it.... I don't mind not calling this type of fouls. However, when you have been calling them all game, especially a bunch for the other team, you can't let that much contact go unnoticed.

i liken this to MLB.... if a pitch on the outside corner is called a ball all game, you can't punch a hitter out on a 1-2 pitch in that same spot in the 9th inning with 2 outs.
