Thanks for the Game Thread Rady .. Another Home Game, another must win game.
Charlotte Hornets beat Magics 130-117 on Sunday to start their 3 game road trip.
Bridges had a double-double playing ready for the road trip.
For the Grimes Haters ....
Grimes have another hard job tonight (defending) or breaking-down LMelo Ball for 3 quarters for a 4th qtr. defender Quickley.
All the room Randle & Barrett gave Booker as double-team defenders was good & BAD in the pic/vid
MitchRob maybe out with injury .. Now Thibs have to put Jericho Sims in the rotation (Sim's should've been in the rotation as our backup PF at the start of the season).

The Knicks had a 20 pt lead with 10 min remaining ....
And a 25 pt lead with 5 min remaining ....
And our Garbage-Time bench players only get 1 min of playing time .. Am I the only one to notice this ???

Tom Thibodeau on Mitchell Robinson: "His effort plays are special. It inspires the team. He's not gonna have a 40-point night. But some of the plays that he makes are just incredible…Oftentimes, there's 2-3-4 efforts on the play, he's got bodies all over him, people are clamping & holding him––he's still getting to the ball…His pick & roll defense is terrific. Rim protection terrific. All the intangibles that he brings to the team. I say this all the time: I know his teammates have great appreciation for what he does, coaches, our whole organization––but sometimes people don't realize the impact that he has. Isaiah same thing––those 2 guys have been terrific"

Julius Randle celebrates his 29th birthday today.

Randle is one of only six players in NBA history to tally at least 10,000 points, 5,000 rebounds, 2,000 assists and 500 made three-pointers before turning 29.
The other five are:

Yeah, that's right. The Celtics did the same, Cavs did the same. And it's kinda weird because you can have two games in which three teams are fighting for the second best place.
In a game between a team that can win the wildcard vs a team that's out of the race, the team that's out of the race will pull its starters out in the last 3 minutes while the other team will still be punching the bag until they're satisfied.
In the other game, however, where both teams can win the wild card, none of them are interested in pulling their starters out in garbage time, despite knowing that the final result will not benefit either of them, being tighter than the one in the other game.
