Randle on the court with the bench lineup is terrible

Randle is NOT a leader of players ..
That's why we needed OG instead of Barrett, and Brunson instead of Payton/Kemba.
Mitch, OG, Brunson, Donte, Hartenstein, and Hart don't need to listen to Randle's leadership to perform like a winner

I don't understand .. 3 and change minutes reman in game, the score 110-95, a 15 point lead, your top player commits a foul that must be investigated for a fragrant.
Ain't that the time (warning) to bring 2 of our top players out the game (Randle/Brunson/OG) having a 15 point lead with 3 minutes remaining in the game .....
To give playing-time to the much needed bench lineup (Grimes, McBride, and Achiuwa) the chance to pull together their skills (STOPS) in a 3 minute lineup having Hartenstein at center (Achiuwa skills/talent will never be a NBA center).
Coach Thibs would've showed a strong confidence as a head-coach to the Knicks bench lineup players (McBride, Grimes, Hart, Achiu, and Hartenstein) to finish the game.
It didn't happen!
Tonight, the Knicks were not playing against any of the East top teams Boston/Bucks/Philly/Magic/Heats known for having a winning identity in strong come from behind games in the 4th quarter.
We were playing a 15-20 Bulls team .. Where our bench lineup showed they couldn't compete having Randle in the lineup.
Our Game rotation shrunk from the trade .. Our only reliable players in the Knicks game rotation are ..
1) Randle 39 min
2) Brunson 38 min
3) OG 34 min
4) Donte 25 min
5) Hartenstein 37 min
6) Hart 25 min
7) Grimes 18 min
Did I miss anyone?
Now I wish we still had Barrett & Quickly in the rotation, plus MitchRob for a 10 Man rotation to compete as NBA contenders.
Coach Thibs will play the above short 7 man rotation through rain, sleet, snow, and storms of soreness and injuries the next 48 Knicks regular season games. Thibs short 7 man rotation will only be prepared to sit throughout the NBA playoffs at the end of the season .. Like Thibs did the Bulls players and Wolves players.

The young inconsistent Barrett were supposed to be a short term sale to the Raptors in Barrett's 3rd season contract. We been watching the Raptors 2 position wing OG Anunoby (who won a chip with Khawi) would fit well in our Knicks rotation with Randle to replace Barrett.
It took the Knicks coaching-staff 5 seasons to develop Barrett. By sacrificing a lot of the Knicks young developing players playing time minutes was giving to Barrett in all 5 seasons.
We let Barrett play in two different unit lineup (Starter/Bench) each night for two and half seasons, which did help Barret develop into a nice 27 to 30 minute role-player at age 23.
Leon Rose messed up the RJ for OG trade by adding Quickley!
Plus the IDIOT gave a 2024 draft pick to the Raptors of a team (Detroit) that just had 28 straight losses!
All we got is a more experience all-around wing player than Barrett .. OG Anunoby.
We gave two of our top rotation players to the Raptors for one rotation player OG.
Hold on, what Raptor player was it Thibs put him in the game for two minute then yanked him out the game? LOL
If Quickley was to be traded this season it was supposed to be in a Fournier trade !!!

OG is a defensive player.
Defense was RJ's worst attribute.
Not sure why it was not RJ and a first round pick.

So True, that the sacrifice a lot of young good talent to prop up RJ playing time. Never any competition to make him earn a position.
IQ was a street baller NOTHING ELSE… he was not a PG nor SG. Running up and down the floor shooting…. If hot great, if not what??
Kiya, BB people must have had some influence on that decision to trade IQ. It was a very good decision. Truly glad not to hear either one name called. GOOD RIDDANCE!!
