Game thread: New York Knicks vs Chicago Bulls 7:30 11/5/2018 [Game #11]

Trier vs LaVine duel. I know his offense has been atrocious, but I don?t think it would have been crazy to bring in a fresh Ntilikina to guard LaVine in this OT.
 
LaVine just blows right by the defense and gives the Bulls the 2 point lead. At any time, Fizdale could have put a fresh man into the game to guard LaVine. Or, at the very least, Fizdale could have put MRob into the game to protect the rim.
 
Great play by Mudiay going coast to coast and hitting the contested layup to tie the game with 2.7 seconds to go.
 
Refs wanted to go home. Mudiay did foul him tho.that call rarely occurs against the home team in that situation. Like calling PI on a Hail

Mudiay left them no choice and when a game is in DO what would anyone expect home or not home. I know I've seen "we want to go home calls" all the time

It was clearly a foul and it was on their ?star? player. I don?t think they called a foul on NYK in the fourth quarter. Refs didn?t want to watch anymore of this. I can?t blame them. Like you said, Mudiay gave them what they needed.

Fun game and great outcome. 23-24-7 line for Kanter. Trier looming like a gem... we pocket a few more ping pongs.

Let?s him duke tomorrow. Beat Kentucky. Let?s see what Zaire is all about.

Durant... Kemba... KL... take notice. Things are brewing in NY.

This was also 3rd game in 4 nights...
 
As long as our team is playing close games and showing effort night in/night out then I don't mind the losses. It's a rebuilding year. I just wanna see our team grow game by game :gony:

Well they made 1.5bil calls the whole night. Making calls later in the game would only prolong the night, they wanted the game to end and if making a call accomplishes this...well. Take out all the sloppy bone headed plays this was a great game. Trier has proven me wrong, kid can play. I don't know what his calling will be going forward but for now he's a player. Not sure he's a starter....new age Vinne Johnson?

The thing is certain players have chemistry on this team which creates tough choices for Fiz. Hezo and Kanter play great together...Mudiay/Trier/Burke/Dotson play with motor in any combination...Knits/Robinson have pretty good paint play

Then we have to fit Knox into all of this.

The team has good stuff to work with...#kporzee back next yr is like picking up a free agent. Durant stays in Golden State or goes to Lakers it's already about a done deal.

I think we end up trading for Kemba if we are in the playoff race, otherwise we'll sign whoever appears to fit best who wants to come here

If this team keeps playing like this... adding KP and a top 7 lottery pick. Some max free agent will run here. Heck, we may not even need it... we?ll have the assets to swing a trade...

I?m enjoying this team and the process... they may not all be budding stars, but together there seems to be something with this group. And, all we need is for a few of them to hit...

So Much better to go 5-16 with kids than 8-13 with aged vets.
